I was looking for a way to clean the engine compartment on my classic car without having to scrub every nook and cranny. After watching many videos online this product was in most of them. I used it the day after receiving it and I am very pleased with the results. While it is a little more expensive that other products I can say that it did the trick. I followed the instructions and with nothing other than a rinse with nothing other than the hose it delivered a clean engine compartment. The best part is it did not require a lot of the product and left everything looking like it came from the factory.

Under the right circumstances, this P21 product is superb. I have used for years to clean my engine bay before detailing it. Spray it on right from the bottle, let it sit for a minute or so, and then just hose it off. It removes dirt, grease and oil. It does not leave a residue a washes away cleanly. If you have an extremely heavy accumulation of oil and greasy grime, this product is not your first line of attack. Choose another product for that task.

Best product on the market

The engine compartment of my car hadn’t been cleaned since I bought it in 2013. I saw this product on the internet, so I thought I’d give a try. It worked better than I expected! Suggestion: Cover the alternator, then apply the product with a handheld pump sprayer. Thoroughly rinse off then blow dry with a leaf blower.

Easy to use

I bought this because it is a recommended engine cleaner. It’s ok for that but you have to plan on doing some scrubbing. I really miss CD2 which cleaned and shined in one easy application. Well, that’s gone so here we are. Not sure this is better than just using Simple Green but now that I have it I’ll use it. Maybe something better will turn up.

I have for years hoped for a product to clean my engine with ease and hoping for good results. All of my hoping has been answered finally and completely. All I did was cover my alternator and did a small amount of brushing some really greasy and heavily soiled areas. The prep took me about 10 minutes. I then sprayed the product on all surfaces? Let it set for another 10 minutes and then sprayed it all off with my garden hose. I used my leaf blower to help the drying process and used an old towel to better dry it off. All together about 40 minutes total and I’m OCD at that. The end result was as new looking as it possibly be and I hadn’t broken a sweat. I am thoroughly satisfied with this amazing product.
