Basecamp Wood Burning Stove System

ファンが全く回らない。交換してください。ハザードランプが点灯して全くファンが回りません。 追加レビューです。 再購入しましたが、それも不良品でした。蓄電されず、ファンは弱で回るが熱感知されず火力調整できない。 結局モンベルに持っていき修理依頼しました。結果的に代替品を出してくれましたが。まだ届いていないのでなんとも言えません。 単純にこの商品自体がすぐ壊れるのか、このショップがダメなのかは定かではありません。

I absolutely love this thing. Yes it is big. Yes it is not really for hiking trips. But will you love this thing.... YES! It takes a little getting used to to be able to properly cook on it as you need to get the fire temperature just right in order to cook meats thoroughly without burning it. However, once you have got the hang of this you will be cooking everything on it. I recently bought the pizza dome accessory from Biolite and wow. I can now cook pizza, chips, garlic bread and even bake cookies on it. As a camping gadget this is amazing. We have spend many a night sat round it watching the gently glow of the fire as we cook a myriad of things on it. The power output of the USB is questionable at times. It does claim to output 1A which is fine for most gadgets. However some of the more power hungry devices such as high-end smart phones may require higher charging currents for this to be effective. I use the USB charger to top up my Anker battery pack and then charge my gadgets from that. It is expensive, but if you like camping, or cooking outside in the garden like i so, then this is a gadget you will really prize. I cannot praise this highly​ enough.

The Biolite Basecamp work very well. I burn a few piece of woods 3 feet long made a better result because new woods make to much smoke. The battery are full charge now. Thanks for this great BBQ woods.

Burned it 8 times since receiving it 8 days ago. I love the device, pure genius at work, but.......................there are some issues with my unit. It arrived damaged: bent top rim and even more bent fuel feed tray. The rim bend caused it to become oval shaped preventing the flame spreader and grill grate from being installed until it was straightened out. Fortunately, I am a metal worker and have tools to accomplish the task, no harm done and surely not BioLite's fault.............although it is curious that there was no obvious damage to the shipping box. Other issues remain however and there appears to be no remedy for those other than returning the unit which is very unlikely as as I live out of country and the shipping boxes were discarded in order to cross the international border with less attention. Later to discover the following: the power pack battery charged up to full level and was able to simultaneously fully charge 4 AA batteries via the USB port. The charger plugged into the LED lamp USB port. Doing so disabled the LED lamp from working properly. Not sure what that was about. Removed the lamp to charge the batteries, both would not work at the same time, and.......................even though the on board battery was fully charged, according to the 4 green lamps being illuminated, the "power" button and its indicator lamp do not work at any time, with or without a heat source. That feature is unavailable...........boooo! Upon the first burn I installed the grill grate only to watch it heat up and buckle about 3/4" upward, eliminating the ability to place a pot on a level surface. Once cooled, bent it back in shape and no longer install it until the stove is ready with a bed of coals to grill upon. The LED lamp is very nice when it behaves................that is it will flash on and off at will and there is no dimming ability as is claimed by the instructions! The taping switch feature is cool, but unreliable, maybe it comes on and maybe not, requires a lot of playing with...............booo! The carrying bail handle is great, but, as others have already warned, be aware that attempting to pick up the stove at the bottom edge of the burner barrel where the folding legs are located will be met with razor sharp, stainless steel edges. I honed these down to a user friendly edge as the tendency to want to pick up the stove from that location is intuitive and does work if the legs are extended. OK, all the cons, now the pros: I am a stove collector, got maybe 20+ different kinds, all backpackable over the years. You name it, I've tried it. The recent trend to biofuel is great and the innovation has been stunning, mind boggling how many variations there are on this theme, the "rocket stove" concept galore! This Base Camp version by BioLite is simply amazing in its design and delivery. This is the first wood burner I have ever used that is truly heat level controllable in relatively short order. There is virtually no smoke with the fuel I am using which is rock hard, desert climate woods. It burns hot and clean. Most of all, it is incredible how little fuel is required to prepare a meal with this design. It is extremely efficient in burning and heat delivery, bravo to BioLite! My request to them for assistance in dealing with the down side issues has so far not been responded to and cannot say at this time how that will work out..............if at all, we shall see and an update will follow giving their response.
