Expensive, but great honey and great company
Alright, I don't know if honey this expensive is really worth it. I don't. But I can tell you that I've ordered two jars of it so far. I had a question about the second jar because it looked a little different (slightly grainy, different color). I emailed the company in New Zealand, and the principal of the company emailed me back the next day with a detailed answer to my question (there was no problem at all with the honey.) This company seems to be one of the earlier ones specializing in Manuka honey, versus the umpteen other companies that have jumped on the bandwagon. At least with this, I think I'm getting the real deal. That said.... is it worth the price, which keeps going up?Also, I read that Manuka honey is supposed to be good for acid reflux. I stir a little bit into my herbal tea, and it tastes great. My reflux is completely controlled now, but I honestly don't know how much the honey helped in comparison with the dietary changes I made.

he would not eat it at first so it took a bit to get him to like it. My dog however is a different story
This was my 2nd purchase of Manuka honey, I purchased one that was not UMF rated and while it did help my sore throat, I can see a slight difference between the two products. This one I purchased after doing some research and reading the reviews here. I purchased for two different treatments, one for respiratory for a pet rat the other for my dog who had a cyst burst. For the respiratory I am still waiting to see results, pet rats are known for this issue and I have a 2.5 year old male who is up and down and after months of meds not much improvement. It is helping, but I think it will be another week more before I know for certain, he would not eat it at first so it took a bit to get him to like it.My dog however is a different story, I am on day 3 and the result is phenomenal, so amazing that had I not seen it with my own eyes I would never have believed it. I really have never been into natural remedies until this year. When hundreds of dollars in other products from the vets have proved not to work and this has in such a short time span.It was a horrible site when it burst and I thought for sure it would require surgery but it is nearly healed after 3 manuka patches. I was told to leave them for at least 3 hours at least 3 days in a row. Today is the last day and when I put it on this morning it looked almost fully healed. I will not be trying another brand as I think this one is really great!

Best heartburn medication ever!
I waited to write a review because I wanted to make sure the "medication" was working. Up until I got the honey, I was taking Tums every night for over a year. Within a week of taking a teaspoon of honey before bed, I no longer had to take Tums with only minor heartburn. For the last week at least, I haven't had any heartburn at all. I also injured my foot and used the honey as antibacterial topical medication and had no issues whatsoever. The honey is sweet but has a medicinal taste to it. If you think like of it like honey, you probably won't like it but if you think of it as type of medicine, it isn't bad at all. It is certainly worth the expense in my book. I am only taking a teaspoon a night to make the jar last longer but it might work faster if you take more dosages a day. Also, don't forget to use a plastic or wooden spoon instead of metal one so it doesn't lower the healing qualities of the honey. Based on research, honey will have different qualities based on the season and the quality of trees the bees have to work with. So I would recommend being patient. Give it time to work its magic!

I am trying different honeys for the first time ever ...
I am trying different honeys for the first time ever. This project started in March 2016 when both my husband and I were diagnosed with Upper Respiratory Infections. We both had very persistent coughs. The viral bug that gave me bronchitis, and the bacteria that gave him his first sinus infection, stayed around FOREVER. The illnesses (both) seemed to respond to antibiotics. But we continued to feel very ill. (Chills, fever, sore throats, stomach pains, eye sensitivity to light). We were scared --- my husband never falls ill. My lungs have never been an issue before and now we're sore and felt attacked. The first Manuka honey "Wild Cape" 10+-- I used in liquid for a cough preparation. We also started taking ot by the teaspoon twice per day. It took longer to work than the 15+ we are taking now.My cystic acne and GI problems have been healed within the last two days using the stronger honey. Am considering dropping Nexium. As a chronic sinusitis sufferer, so far this honey has killed every sore throat (the starting symptom for my sinus issues). Once we feel healthy, I will drop us back to using the lower strength 15+ honey.UPDATE: I have tried two brands of Manuka 15+ UMF honey and this is my favorite one ... for both it's effectiveness and taste.

Contradiction: Good food, bad container
Honey is meant to be one of the healthy food items, and particularly Manuka honey and then too with UMF of 10+.So far so good.BUT the container is made of plastic!!! Sure, that's light material and logistically transportation etc. is easier to manage, but no good/expensive honey in plastic container throws up contradiction: Human being caring for themselves but not for the environment. On that basis alone I won't buy this product again until its produced in environmentally degradable container.

Pure Manuka
It’s a nice tasting Manuka honey it’s definitely not sweet which is good. I have done my research on finding which are the best brands for Manuka. Only concern is that I found this for sale on a China wholesale website which was alarming for me. Unless one of their suppliers is in China?! Had a exact same jar in the picture. I’m a bit wary of purchasing a second jar.

Excellent
This is very effective in my opinion. I felt unwell recently with flu like symptoms, beginning of a cold, I took a teaspoon of this honey before bed, and in the morning I added a teaspoon to hot water with fresh lemon juice, did this for about 4 days and it worked for me, cold symptoms and irritating cough subsided. I wouldn't purchase again as you can get the same manuka honey but a bigger jar for less at Holland and barrett.

My go to honey - one of my favourites
One of my favourite Manuka honeys, best for taste and value for money, highly recommend by me, I must have bought this at least 20 times in the past. If I can’t find another one I want to try or I’m trying not to spend to much then this is the one. The only reason I marked it down for presentation was because I got another Manuka honey and the presentation was incredible nothing like o have experienced before

The product looks ok
I have received the manuka honey as advertised, though I would recommend them not to use plastic jars for their honey, but to go for glass ones, the old fashioned way which is healthier. It's quite alright for my taste, so I'm happy with this purchase.
