Great jacket
Sizing guide is true. I'm 5'10* and about 180 lbs. Ordered the Large and it fits great, just like a regular hoodie would. Came with the spine armor even though they say it doesn't, so that was cool. Kind of thin so wear base layers for the cold, better for warmer temps. Armor is thick and covers large areas. Hard to tell it's armored just looking at it when worn. Soft and comfortable. Left pocket inside pocket is large and can fit lots of stuff. Right inside pocket in kind of small, I use it for my registration. There's a little vertical pocket inside the right outside pocket that I can put my keys or phone in if I squish it in there. Hood covers my head great. Good looking jacket, definitely worth the cost if you're just starting out and don't want to break the bank before figuring out if it's something you want to do.

excellent product
Its a black hoodie with 1/2" thick flexible pads stitched into the elbows and shoulders but its loose enough to be comfortable and warm. Its like a nylon jacket inside, so it is heavy and warm and water resistant. It also comes with an optional/removable spine protector that slides into the back vertically. Its like a 6 inch wide, half inch thick flexible pad that slides up in a velcro pocket that goes from shoulder blades to mid-lower back. I paid like 88 bucks on clearance. Very worth it. Fits well. I got a 5x because they said it runs small and I usually wear a 3x but there is plenty of room. Its not tight or anything and I have a 54" chest so it is very true to it's sizing. I think it says 56. I have another one coming tomorrow in the flannel variety. As far as washing, it says hand wash with like colors on cold, but I think I will just wash it separately on a gentle cycle. Nobody is hand washing their clothes like it's 1940. Drying, I might have to hang dry by fan until mostly dry and then tumble dry with no heat for the wrinkles for the last 10 minutes since those foam pads are in there. They will probably melt in the dryer or at the very least, twist around or make a polyurethane oil stain or something if put in a hot dryer for a good duration. Anyway, its warm, heavy, fits well, if not slightly loose like a hoodie should and the pads are not bulky enough to bother you. They are thin and flexible. I do notice that the back of the shirt length shortens a bit once that back pad is inserted.

Bang for your buck.
The product feels good, serves it purpose which is to look like a normal hoodie while offering some sort of protection. I have worn this hoodie for a couple months and I could say that for the price it’s pretty good, my only complaints would probably be the elbow padding moves around a lot but besides that I think it’s okay. Can’t say anything about how it will handle a slide and hope I never have to I’d recommend if you don’t have a lot of cash or don’t have any gear whatsoever this would be a good product.

Fits great and good quality.
After a month of use 7 days a week even in the California heat I’m happy with it. It breathes really well and I stay pretty cool in it. I probably wouldn’t like it in cold weather I’d definitely wear another sweater or jacket.I’m 5”10 165lbs and I wear a large and this large fit me exactly like a normal hoodie. It’s not bulky at all, it honestly looks like a normal hoodie even though the pads are pretty thick.Oh mine came with the back pad even though the ad said it didn’t.My buddies complain that the pads will move in a crash BUT they seem to be there more for the impact so you don’t shatter your elbows or smash your shoulders and I think they’ll work pretty good for that. It’s the Kevlar lining that’s going to help with road rash.I’d recommend this sweater. It’s an affordable and pretty good quality piece of safety equipment.

Exactly as described
While shopping around I must have confused this jacket for one with kevlar, this unfortunately does not have it. But that's on me so I can't dock it points for that. Otherwise, for the price it's a good buy. Normal hoodies like this go for about half the price with nothing special included. This is at least somewhat conscious of the rider with some armor and wind proofing, and is damn comfortable. I still want to move onto something with kevlar, but I'll be using this every day until then, and probably will opt to throw it on for short rides even after I do get one.

Doesnt come with back pad.
Cons: -it does NOT include any back padding. At the moment of writing this idk if the details changed. But when i intially bought it, the details had implied that there were shoulder, elbow, and back pads. I called amazon and they checked it over and agreed.- the inside mesh sometimes has a plastic/nylon feel to it, kindve like a nylon windbreaker jacket, but cheaper material. So it makes a lot of swishy sounds, but you only hear/feel it the most when ur hands are inside the outer pockets, inside the inner pockets, or rubbing up against the hoodie.Pros: its actually pretty comfortable. Its not super light, but not very heavy either. So i dont feel bad wearing it in 80 degree sun while riding, and it keeps me warm in the nights when i am still out.It beats a jacket in the sense that its much easier to fold small, and stuff into a bag, on the days u dont wana feel extra bulky with carrying a lot of stuff. Or you can leave it on, and not stand out.Extra: i wish the zipper and hoodie was like a mock style where i zips up all the way past the neck and goes right under the chin. That would be ideal for chilly nighrs so i wouldnt need a scarf or otherwise.Overall decent hoodie. Wouldve been too notch if it came with all the pads it described from the start.I am 5'9 exactly, and 200 lbs. Large fits perfectly. Not baggy not tight, some room to spare for clothes underneath but fits nicely under another coat.

Sent it back
5 star for quality, 1 star for size.I'm 6'4" 285 lbs. I ordered a 4XL but the arms and the torso was too short before raising my arms. It was sized more for someone 5'10" and 350lbs (obviously just a guess).
