Handle too thin- Fixed
These Master knives are very simple, stainless steel, sharp, and priced right. I have 3 and like them. The handle is too thin though. To fix this I whipped 1/8 inch nylon line (rope) tight to the handle.Just whip over the existing line or rope. This makes the handle about 1/2 inch thick which has a much better feel.Google whipping line or rope if you are not familiar with it. It is very easy to do it.And just tuck the loose ends into the handle to hide them. The sheath works well and holds the knife well. The knife is slightly on the smaller side but exactly what is wanted.

Very good for the price
this knife is very good for the price. The blade holds a decent edge and is sharp enough out of the box for daily uses. I have it strapped to my backpack I use for the beach and daily activities.i originally bought it for hiking when I went to Lake Tahoe. The plastic sheath is decent and holds the knife in even when shaken vigorously but I feel that it will eventually brake because the rivets holding the sheath together are plastic. I'll probably just super glue it back together when/if it brakes, not a problem to me but it may be to you. The locking mechanism is just an Allen screw on the blade of the knife that fits in a concave section of the sheath. It also has a clip on it to put on a belt but when you pull it out the whole sheath comes off your belt to so I have it strapped down fairly well on my backpack. I also replaced the string on the handle with real paracord because I tried using a lighter to fuse it all together but burned a hole through it. No biggie.I feel this knife is perfect for carrying while hiking or just walking around. I openly carry it because you legally have to with a dirk or dagger(in ca) and I don't want any legal trouble over a little knife because the laws for concealed carry are kinda touchy. All together a very good knife.

Nice little knife.
Not a bad knife for the price. Stays in sheath good. Fairly sharp with nice point. The hole in the blade is too small to fit your finger through! I thought that would be a nice safety feature. Paracord on handle and lanyard are fine. I can’t say I have used it much. Worth the money.

Good for the Price, Could be Worse.
For the price I can really complain, the knife itself is very light weight and thin, which hurts the hand when holding. The "paracord" wrap on the handle became undone the first time I used the knife which required retying and melting with a lighter. The knife itself came decently sharp, however is rather soft metal. I have a Milwaukee folding knife that when hit with a hammer on the dull edge produced no sign of wear, this knife however dented when hit. (Obviously most will not use this knife as a makeshift ax) but when I consider a knife for survival purposes I would like for it to be able to handle anything I throw at it.The sheath on the other hand is built well, the belt clip on the other hand is kind of a joke, when you pull the knife to remove it from the sheath, due to the tight fit of the knife in the sheath you end up pulling both when you intended to remove the knife from the sheath only.If this was all I had it would work in a pinch, however for the money $10 it could be a lot worse! Would I buy another one? Probably. Would it be the only knife I own? Heck no.

Very nice knife!
This knife is the perfect size for pocket carry or wearing around your neck. It weighs just 3.17 ounces (90 grams), including the nylon sheath. At a price of $4.99, it offers unbeatable value.

Nice little knife. For the price, you can't go wrong!
I didn't expect a lot for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised by this little knife. I was looking for a knife to attach to my EDC fanny pack. This one was small enough to fit along the top of the pack without too much protrusion by the handle. I like that the knife is decently sharp, and is sturdy and light. Some people didn't like the paracord wrap, but I do like it as it keeps the weight down, gives a better grip and matches my fanny pack. I was also pleased by how well the sheath retained the knife. It is secure enough, yet you don't have to fight to pull the knife out.For the money, you just can't go wrong!

poor sheath, handle wrap
The handle wrap is cheap red string < half thickness of 550 cord. Knife uses a rivet and sheath a indentation for retention. Retention is a bit weak. The real problem is the rivet hangs in the round hole in the sheath when drawing the knife.I considered removing the string/cord and rewrapping with 550 paracord. Then modifying the hole in the sheath. But the overall poor quality would make the effort seem silly. I am returning it.I found a much higher quality fixed blade and sheath at local store (they are everywhere) for $5.
