Avtex 199DSFVP 19.5" 12V/240V Wi-Fi Connected HD TV with Freeview Play

Looked for a while for a TV for a caravan and finally settled on this model.There are a few other cheaper brands on the market but after reading reviews decided to go for this one and am not dissappointed. I didn't want a DVD player but did find the catch up features this model offered along with WiFi connectivity. Out of the box you can feel the quality of the screen and all the other items, the remote really feels well made. Setting up was straightforward and the picture didn't need any adjustment. The sound was also much better than I expected and only begins to distort at high levels. In use the single button channel search worked as advertised and the catch up worked when WiFi signal was present. I actually plugged a Firestick in and ran the TV off 12V DC as sockets are at a premium and all worked really well with a great picture with wide viewing angle.I can certainly recommend this product but appreciate it is relatively expensive.

Excellent product..purchased for our motor home and worked perfectly every time...picture quality is brilliant, sound is great and remote control is quite easy to navigate once you get used to it.

The TV looks great, sound is perfectly acceptable and the catch up works well. You do pay extra for basic smart functions but a simple fire stick can add so much more for less.The major flaw with the product however is once the tv has been turned off it looses any stored wifi networks meaning you have to connect and enter password every time. It does this even when you put it into standby. Not anything you’d expect from a product of this price.

Arrived extremely quickly. TV very simple to set up and wide array of connection options. Great picture. Sound probably OK in a motor home; in a medium sized bedroom they struggle a little. The connections do though mean you can connect external speakers if wanted. Overall very satisfied.

Proper 1080p panel so picture great and tuning is easy but sound is appalling and if you use internal WiFi it sucks power and turns itself off after a few minutes. Ended up using a fire stick to get smart TV and no longer switches itself off. Also uses an unusual power socket so will almost certainly not be plug and play with a pre installed DC supply. 3 stars because I’m prepared to live with its faults for the picture quality but I think there are better all round TV’s out there if you’re not bothered by 720p quality.

Easy to use, easy to set up, fantastic clear pic, well worth the cost

The picture is great for a small kitchen or camping TV. Good connectivity too. It might cost a bit extra compared to what is available at this size, but I can't imagine a better picture.

Poor quality and design flaws make this TV expensive junk. At volume setting 76 no audio output. Speaker distorts/something vibrates when bass occurs on sound. Doesn’t save WiFi password so each time powered up have to re-enter. Some Apps require re-entry of user details on power up.However excellent picture quality but couldn’t accept the faults or features described so returned.
