Delicious and fresh
Flavor is excellent, smoky deep and bright at once. I use it on a variety of dishes. The jar was well sealed and the product fresh.

Just the right heat and taste great!
A great replacement for standard red pepper flakes. Less heat but still add a kick and the flavor is wonderful. I use them with eggs, mashed avocado for avocado toast, on pizza, soups, etc. I just love them!

Nice flavor
This selection of Aleppo pepper adds nice flavor to a dish without adding salt. I sense almost no heat factor in this product. I'll be trying a different offering for my next order as I'm looking to add more heat to my dishes.

Delicious!
Aleppo Pepper is my new favorite spice. I bought this spice to make the internet famous Anne Paul's Turkish Pasta and it did not disappoint! I've seen several recipes where they only use paprika, but you should really use some Aleppo Pepper with a little paprika to set this dish off, coming in a little hotter than a jalapeno.

Great pepper, don't be distracted by appearances
This was my first try of Aleppo pepper (pul biber). After hearing Christopher Kimball from Milk Street (podcast) talk about this all the time, I was very interested to try it for myself. This was one of the better deals I found online, as local "international" stores didn't carry pepper labelled as Aleppo pepper. I didn't have time to try the small middle eastern stores nearby, therefore Amazon. There was another 150g offer from a different vendor at the same price, but it was in a bag, and I don't have a spare bottle for this.Anyways, it appears the many comments/complaints by the other Amazon reviewers was received. They secured the cap with an extra plastic overwrap, and it appears it is much harder to have the lid just "pop off" on accident. Also, the inner seal was tight, with some parts where I had to go back to pull off seal remnants because my obsessiveness was acting up.Back to my experience: when I got the bottle and it looked like it wasn't filled all the way (see photos), despite the good seal and plastic overwrap, I went to measure how much pepper was actually there. According to the scale, 148g measured (with some left in the bottle sticking to the walls, and we did try a little the night before to see what the fuss was about, so I believe it was 150g to begin with), so do not worry about the extra air space in the bottle, you are getting what you paid for!The taste of the pepper is a red pepper with more flavor notes than your regular "pizza joint" red pepper flakes. I like it, but the price is much higher than "American red pepper," so this one is going to be pulled out only on special occasions.
