Lovely collar. Good quality leather, nicely constructed.

Beautiful quality item, very well made from lovely leather. Price seems high 'just for a dog collar' but this is really special and you have to pay for quality. With proper care, ( ie avoid sea water and nourish with leather treatment regularly) this should last my 12 month old Labrador the rest of her life. Looks good on her and she loves it, wears it all day every day, comes and offers her head up each morning to have it slipped on, much kinder than a plain check chain. I'm very pleased indeed. Beware though, this is not a substitute for training your dog properly not to pull.

This is a substantial collar but for me I think the chain is a little too heavy. It would be helpful to have had max - min sizes for choice of collar instead of just max - made it difficult to choose the size for my still growing German Shepherd. I bought the 24inch which is still a little bit but he will grow into it. Another thing which would much improve this collar would be the addition of a metal ring to hang a (now legally required) name/details tag on. If you hang it on the chain attachment loop its likely to get worn off. Aside from that it does seem to be a well made collar at a reasonable price.

I do love these collars they are strong and so well made .i have 2 Bernese Mt dogs and I find the martingale collars so much easier to walk and control my boys at 65 and 57 kilos I need to be able to have control x my boys are happy running about and playing in these collars and the don’t fall off .i made an error and bought the wrong size they were so quick in sorting out my problem .well worth the money

The shape and size is perfect for our little dobbie, the leather seems of good quality, however it’s being let down by the chain. It looks cheap and has already came oxidated(yes, stainless steel does oxidate), drakened like the cutlery gets after a while. Weird, as the buckle is nice and shiny. We’re keeping it as our little boy will soon outgrow it and will be investing in a more expensive one, but for £30 you get what you pay for.

Comfortability,construction,works great off any dog lead including muzzle ect,no bad comments to add!

Bought this 1 July 2019, and it still looks brand new, it is so easy to attatch, I have indoor collars and outdoor collars, Just slipping it over his head and off we go, while on a leash he does not pull, I think the slow tightening effect of the collar has helped with this.I would buy this again but.... It is made so well, I wont have to.

Bought this for my German Shepherd, the stated sizing is accurate, which isn't always the case with these type of things.It was clear from the moment I received this that it is a quality item, it's got a good weight to it and the new leather smell is persisting even after a couple of months of constant wear which is always a good sign for leather.The outer leather is quite stiff (but still pliable) in a way that you know it's going to last for many years. The inner purple leather is soft and gives the collar a quite an distinguished understated style.I don't think I'll be buying another collar in a hurry.
