This really works on a Non Standard, Non Bike, Terra Trike, If You Take The Time
I am an urban bike commuter that needs a reliable lighting system. After a great deal of trial and error I mounted tow of these units on my Trike.NOTE IT IS NOT A BIKE AND HAS NONE OF THE NECESSARY CLEARANCES TO SUPPORT THESE LIGHTS "out of the box"So do not buy these if you have a trike or any other non traditional bike and want to just bolt them on and go.Here is how I have successfully mounted two complete sets of the 700 Series ReeLights (771 and 770) on my Terra Trike Tricycle.Note again, that these units designed to be mounted on traditional frame bicycles, NOT TRIKES.I ended up using all metal, not plastic, handlebar mounts for oversize handlebars on the oversize diameter lower rear frame stay and on the oversize diameter seat support stay, so the two generating sets that I am using are on the same side of the bike in relation to the rear 26 inch wheel. Then after adjusting the angles of the mounts inward toward the wheel to place the coils to close the three to four inch gap between the frame and the wheel, that the Terra Trike frame geometry creates, I was able to mount the generating coils that interact with the generating magnets, right where they are supposed to be, in relation to the magnets you attach to the wheels. As if this was all on a traditional bicycle frame. At that point I have two independent tail light + headlight systems on my trike and considering that I've been clocked at 22 MPH, I now have sufficient headlight illumination for night riding. If I have one complaint about these lights is that ALL OF non of the US sellers on Amazon AND Directly on the Web DO NOT stock any spare parts. So after I broke one of the headlights (my fault in loading my trike onto the top of my car to carry it) , I had to order a completely new set, to use the headlight to replace the broken one.So in the end I have a total of $300 or so into three sets for two working sets and the spare parts to keep them going on my trike.Yes, that might seem excessive, but close to 5,000 miles later, they are still going strong. And because I had extra magnets, (total 9 on three sets) I could arrange almost all of them of them around my 32 spoke wheel, to deal with balance, noise issues and get bright lighting at all speeds.About the spare parts issues, I am writing to the European manufacturer to complain.

Good basic lighting but a bit dim.
Not as bright as a battery light but you never have to charge it. Need more magnets if you install it on a suspension fork unless you want it to flicker at low speed. Front light mount is just a loop of metal and can spread open if overtightened.

Good product, with some serious flaws.
The light unit itself is well designed and effective. Unfortunately, the dynamo cover broke when I was installing it, so I had to tape it on with electrical tape. I contacted Reelight, but had to argue with them to send me a replacement cover. They finally did.I really like the idea of having lights on all the time, with no concerns about batteries, etc. This definitely meets that need. The lights are not terribly bright, but they're bright enough. Two big complaints, though:1) The 3 spoke magnets are really not adequate for a 32-spoke wheel. They need to include 4 magnet assemblies instead of 3.2) The magnet assemblies rust. Like crazy. This is terrible. I don't want rusty parts on my bike, and I don't want rust getting on the spokes. Some of Reelight's other products, such as the SL500 flashing headlight, have better, plastic-encased magnets, but perhaps they're not powerful enough for the continuous lights.

The Best Light for Kids
I have this on three bikes. It is the best light for a kid's bike because you don't have to remember to turn it on/off and it never needs to be charged or have its batteries changed.

These lights are bright and great to be seen by car drivers.
These light are very bright. They stay lit as long as I ride the bike and stay lit for 5 seconds before turning off.It is a good battery free bicycle lights. The car and truck drivers and the police officers compliment me about the lights. The cord to the rear lights were shorter than the front lights.I had to adjust the cord connected to the rear lights and lengthening the lights.Connecting the lights to the generator was very tricky but I got the lights working by connecting the positives and negative wires separately.I recommend the lights to anyone who rides a bike at night.
