Used these for adding lifting points on my Generator so I could move it to the worksite easily with my front end loader. Drilled through the frame and bolted them on. I have a little chain and some hooks- ( the harness I also use for my pressure washer,) I hook and lift and off we go. Purchased these to strap down my motorcycle in an enclosed trailer. Was able to locate them so I could bolt through the floor frame members. They are very solid and do a great job as anchor points for my rachet straps. Not completely flush with the floor, like the recessed cut in one's, but I can live with a 1/2" bump when not in use. Very satisfied and would recommend to a friend. You would rip out the bolts before the ring and anchor strap failed.

It will stay on place and hold mower and atv with the rite straps

Using these to anchor a tarp on the side of a shed to cover the waverunners. Definitely strong enough to do that. I would recommend for medium duty anchor use.

I would have given a five star but one D Ring was missing I still welded the clamp in and hook my strap down so it wasn't a problem for me but it could be for someone

I live off grid out in a very rural setting. My home is powered by solar power. The solar panels are on an adjustable ground mount system. Recently there have been a few thefts in the area. In one case, solar panels were stolen.I decided to theft proof my solar panels buy anchoring 1/4" stainless steel aircraft cable to each of my solar panels. Using specialized security screws, I fastened these LE KAPMOZ D Rings Tie Down Anchors to run my aircraft cable through and locked each panel down to the ground mount frame. I didn't actually use the D rings but only the mounting brackets for them. I can always use the D rings for other projects.None of the local hardware stores had tie down hardware that was heavy duty enough to meet my requirements so, after searching Amazon for a solution, I came upon these. They are very heavy duty. If someone wants those panels, they had better come with specialized tools to get them.
