Tracee has delivered a pure gem to all who seek the amazing experience of practicing this healing modality - whether they have heard of it before or not.I have studied, practiced, and led yoga nidra experiences for groups of people and I can tell you that there is so much desire in the world for the healing and rest that comes from this special practice, but so far the books I've come across on the subject have had only cripts to follow or are focused only on the science of rest. In contrast, Tracee wrote an inviting book that allows you to start to feel the ease and desire to embrace these practices in a really respectful and lovely approach. The experience of reading her book transmits the essence of yoga nidra.Tracee wrote a book that gives you the experience of being in the presence of this practice.It's informative, inspiring, and full of magic. Just staring at the images can invoke so much.I love yoga nidra. On a basic level, when I practice I feel my nervous system calming down and my physical body releasing tension in a way that doesn't happen with traditional sleep. And this is just the start of the benefits it provides. It continues to heal the layers of the body, including the conscious and unconscious mind.I'm really looking forward to spending more time with the audio practices that are so generously included with the book. The glossary of terms, extensive practices, and her self-inquiry questions make this book a companion that will continue to guide and support me.Thank you Tracee.

Powerful, profound, life changing! A MUST!
Is there a 6th star possible?! If so, I would give it that. Or maybe a 7th. Radiant Rest is what I have been waiting for. A book that speaks to exactly what I need in exactly the way I need to read it and experience it. Radiant Rest is full of beautifully written information and well-thought out practices that are accessible, respectful, and applicable. Each practice is carefully crafted; they are the ultimate tools for your Self-Care toolbox. Tracee's embodiment of the words on these pages is palpable. The power of rest has never been more needed and Radiant Rest is full of ideas as to how to bring these tools into daily life. As a householder, the fact that there is a whole chapter that speaks to the reverence of this role is profound. A new perspective, a shift, and a sense of more self awareness and self compassion that is revealed in these pages. The book is written in a way that is digestible and I believe that over time, more and more will be revealed. I just got my copy and it is already dogeared and highlighted! I cannot recommend this book enough!

Lovely!
Wonderfully written book and so many exercises to follow. It touched a bit on traditional yoga philosophy which I appreciated. I will definitely be retuning back to many pages throughout my yoga practice!

A True Gem
This book is a true delight. It’s not just one of those books that tells you the importance of the topic discussed. Yes it dives into the History (eastern and western) of the Yoga Nidra practice, but it also guides you into creating a practice of your own with a collection of practices to work from. At the beginning Tracee offers a few ways you can incorporate the book for those who want to experience Deep Relaxation, for those who crave rest but have limited time, for teachers, and for seekers. And, as you go through the book you will learn about brain waves, you will learn about the connection Yoga Nidra has to sacred texts and you will meet Yoga Nidra as a goddess through myth. The true gem, however is a collection of Self-Inquiry questions that are woven through the chapters. Taken seriously these will allow you to create an intimate and personal Yoga Nidra practice. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Timely, Utterly Readable, Life Changing
The media could not be loaded. I have this book, both in written form and the audio version. It’s an introduction, and a deep reference book, one which may take some years to fully mine its treasures. 🙏💕 I will often listen when I’m driving, then put on one of the recorded practices on the Shambhala website or on the mighty networks app. I’m working towards self guiding for deeper transformation.Great resource! I completely recommend this beautiful, tiny, mighty book.

This is the book that we ALL need right now. It is also a book for the ages that we will return to again and again. In Radiant Rest, brilliant guide, Tracee Stanley takes us on a journey to a place of deeper connection, truth, and more spacious living - a journey to our own hearts via the practice of Yoga Nidra. This book has soul. It's not a manual, nor is it prescriptive- and yet yoga teachers and students alike will learn how to anchor their practice in relationship. This book supports us in kindly examining our relationship to rest. It aids us in getting curious about the full impact of individually and collectively being so hurried, impatient, and busy that we don't have space to rest. This book is full of accessible practices that make you want to actually do them! Buy a copy for yourself and at least three friends. It's THAT empowering, wise, and just plain good.
