Great for cookies
This cake made some good cookies. The Valerie is kind of OK. It’s easy to use. The quality is nice because it has like shredded carrot in it and that was amazing for the cookies that I had in mine. I made carrot cookies with cream cheese frosting in the world that was amazing.

Better than other brands . Taste like homemade.
This is as close to my home made carrot cake as is possible once I add pineapple, Raisins, walnuts and shredded carrots. Much better than any of the other brand name carrot cakes . Walmart quit carrying this brand but I found it here at a good price

Delivers in Spades
If you're like me and you can't help but jimmy with almost any recipe, this mix is a great canvas on which you may put your individual stamp. Made just by the directions provides you with a moist and flavorful cake, but if you like to tinker, it makes great bars, specialty cakes, loaves, etc. You can morph it according to your tastes-- raisins, grated carrots,icing that's more cream cheese than icing, or just let it stand alone...which it does, magnificently well.Even better when it's at a good price.Emceemk says check it out.

Delicious!!
I love a good carrot cake and this was fairly close to homemade. Due to my health issues I can't scratch bake anymore so I rely on mixes. This brand is excellent and has always been delicious. When I'm made this mix, I added a bit more spices and topped it with a homemade cream cheese frosting. The cake baked perfectly and was moist and flavorful. The only thing I can say negative is that some of the carrots had a somewhat rubbery texture. Overall I'd definitely purchase this mix again. The price is comparable to stores locally however they don't usually have this flavor on their shelves. I'm glad Amazon carries it in the single box option.

Freeze well
Great flavor. Substituted applesauce for eggs. Added fav extras. Baked in oversized muffin tin. These froze well so I had plenty for a few weeks of morning muffins with a soft cream cheese.

Not as good as moms but definitely hit the spot when I was craving carrot cake.
