The pieces are in a plastic mould to be popped out, they give you bags to store which is really useful as you losing any pieces would be a problem. Just make sure to disassemble and put away so they can enjoy next time.Doesn't need to be a scorching day. Just normal UK weather is enough to get this powered up. We have a path outside our house which is ideal. A straight set of concrete slabs works well. Don't think it's made for going through grass or anything. I love how this gets my son interested in science and the basics of engineering at the same time.

I got my hubby a remote controlled car for his birthday last year and really enjoyed it so when I saw this I figured he would really enjoy building the robot then playing with it.Its so cool that most toys don't need masses of batteries these days and you can actually solar power through such small units.Love this . such a quirky present ... hubby loves it.

Easy to assemble and saves you spending money on extra batteries. I bought it for kids so they can understand how the solar energy work and they absolutely loved it. Great activity for the kids and adults.Very reasonable price and it was a quick delivery.I would highly recommend this product.

Ridiculous to put together, incredibly flimsy so will fall apart immediately and then didn't work even though i tested it first and followed construction to the letter. One very annoyed mum and sad little boy.
