Good bang for your buck. Hopefully the zippers last
I am a new rider, wanted something more than my Carhartt and didn't want to spend a fortune. I am 6'5 and 245 lb. I normally buy 2xl jackets to accommodate my size but fit well in an XL Tall size if it's available. I bought a 3xl as the description mentioned ordering a size up. It fits perfectly over my Carhartt bibs with two top layers. It's not true Cordura fabric but is labeled "Asian Cordura." Definitely made with a tough fabric. Plenty of adjustments. The zippers are small and definitely not manageable with gloves. It's late December in Ohio>I rode about 60 miles in the jacket. In the morning it was high 40s with intermittent sprinkles. Definitely kept me warm and dry. Comfortable at speed. As the day warmed near 60, I was warm as well. I opened the two front, one rear vent and let air go up the sleeves. Air circulated well under the liner and took the edge off. I definitely see this as a 3 season jacket as I'll probably need a mesh jacket for summer. I probably could have rode without the liner in the afternoon. I don't think this jacket will breathe at all when it gets muggy and damp; definitely a winter jacket if you live in FLA or Texas. Definitely a good jacket. If you are used to top of the line gear, this jacket definitely isn't for you.

Good Budget Jacket
I recently got back into motorcycling and needed to find an armored jacket. I couldn't find anything locally that actually fit me and I can only assume it's because sizing standards have drastically changed since I last rode on two wheels. I am six feet tall and around 240 pounds and I have a fairly large frame.I used to be able to wear a XL jacket from Joe Rocket, Tourmaster, Firstgear, etc. but now I'm finding that 2XL and 3XL jackets from the same companies don't even come close to fitting anymore. I even tried Alpinestars, Bilt, Olympia, etc. and had the same problem. I talked to some people online who told me they had really good luck with the HWK branded jackets and guys who were about my same size said they went with a 3XL. I decided to take a chance on one due to the price and I usually don't buy clothing items without trying them on first. As you can see from the pics, the jacket fit me and if I have a complaint it's the sleeves since they are a tad on the long side. I did use the two sleeve adjustment points to correct some of it and once I'm on the bike, I don't notice it at all. It fits me around the chest and waist just right. Today was the first day I wore it and it performed well enough. I haven't had it in the rain or extreme temps, so I really can't say how it will do, but I think it will be fine. It does have a light quilted liner inside and it's just big enough that I can probably get a hoodie or thicker shirt on underneath it for layering purposes. The jacket has armor on the shoulders, elbows, and back and has a few different vent zips that can be opened. The one thing I will say is that the "cell phone" pocket is an absolute joke. Hopefully my pics give you an idea, but there is no way that pocket is going to fit any conventional modern smart phone. Maybe an older Nokia from back in the day might fit, but that's it. I could barely get my garage door opener into it, so take it for what's it worth. There are two zippered pockets on the outside you can use or keep your phone someplace else, but don't count on this pocket.Overall I'm pleased with it so far and in the event that it falls apart or I have issues, I will come back and update.

Good jacket
I'm frugal (ok, cheap) and spending $700 dollars on a jacket is a non-starter for me. I have other Chinese made jackets, but found them to be heavy and constricting. I decided to try this one as the price was right and I noticed a YouTube rider had been wearing one for a couple of seasonsand it was holding up well. The jacket seems well made and is windproof. I haven't worn it in the rain yet but it seems like it would be at least water-resistant if not waterproof. It is large enough to layer for colder weather (I live in a mountainous area and ride year round). The zip out liner seems a bit thin but is fine for temperatures into the high 40s F. Colder than that and layering is essential. They claim 600d cordura construction and that seems about right. It is reinforced at the high impact areas, but the armour is not CE approved. All the import jackets play this game. If it doesn't have the CE standard number along with the CE logo, then it is not approved to the CE standard. That's not a big deal to me, but if it's important to you, plan on replacing the foam pads it comes with.Overall, I like this jacket a lot. It fits well (I'm 5'10" 180 lbs. and the large fits perfect for me) the build quality is good and the venting works ok.CONS: My biggest complaint is that it has a strong chemical odor that hasn't dissipated vey much. I haven't tried washing it yet but did set it outside to air for most of a day. Not a deal breaker for me, but something to consider. As mentioned earlier, the zip out liner is thinner than I would like, but hey for $49.00 dollars I don't expect expedition grade insulation. I'll probably layer a "puffy" jacket under it for rides down into the thirties and forties f.If you are looking for cost-effective riding protection I highly recommend this jacket. The cons are negligible and manageable and you can save hundreds of dollars in the process. Will it offer maximum protection in a high speed accident? Probably not, but the level of protection at this price point is surprisingly good. I like mine a lot and notice my wife glancing covetously at it when we are gearing up. I suspect we will be ordering one in her size eventually!

great for price
I had lowered expectations because of the cheep price, but was quite surprised when I receive the jacket. So far the quality seems quite good. Very pleased with my purchase.
