The media could not be loaded.  I work at the door checking temperatures in a non profit theatre. Only the musicians and performers come to the theatre, it’s only Online shows for now. We all wear masks, and practice social distancing. Everyone....gets their temperature checked when they come in to the theatre. We are all terrified of getting Covid-19. Up until now, we’ve been using a cheap crappy handheld thermometer. When several people come in at once, our handheld thermometer malfunctions all the time. I’ve seen these forehead scan thermometers at the hospitals on my day job. I like these because you don’t have to get right up next to someone to get their temperature. I found this one on a search of Amazon. It is literally Plug and Play. I took it out of the box, turned it on, and it started checking temperatures. I had an old tripod that was scrapped, the swivel mount broke. This thermometer screwed right on that tripod. A full USB charge works for a week once it’s on battery. The app for this thermometer works great. It was a 1,2,3 setup. Even when I am in other apps on my iPhone, it keeps track of the temperatures. I did heat up some water to test for +100 degrees. It does not show the temperature, only “HI” in the display with Red LED’s, and it beeps the alarm several times. You can change the temperature alarm in the app.Please Note: If you DON’T like hearing the Loud BEEP from the piezoelectric speaker each time there is a scan. There is a teeny tiny little hole just below the large LED readout(left side). Just cover that with a small piece of electric tape. That will make the BEEP sound about 5% of the normal sound. The BEEP on this thermometer was driving the musicians NUTS. He he !Update: Much to my dismay, after mounting this thermometer on my tripod it started to wobble, and I could not secure it to the tripod. I removed the three screws from the back, took the back cover off. I was SHOCKED to see the tripod mount was merely a square nut hot glued to the plastic inside. The hot glue broke loose from the plastic, that’s why it would not stay secure on the tripod. I had to create a mount so the thermometer would stay secure on a tripod. Hot glueing a nut to the plastic inside is very schotty engineering. For the money I paid for this tripod. It should have been made better.

I ordered 2 of these for our office to be able to check temps for tall and shorter individuals. It works great. No need to touch anything upon entry of our office. My only complaint is the battery life is not that great. So we plug it in to charge every night to ensure the battery will be ready every work day. Installation was easy using the double sided tape it included.I just wish the app allowed the tracking and historical data for multiple devices. It only allowed connection to 1 at a time so we would need two devices at our front desk in order to collect the historical data from each.

Seems to be working fine. Easy to install too. Good readability. I can't speak for its accuacy as we have no other scanner to compare. So, I am hoping it's accurate. Good for my business and people seem at ease when they have to be scanned as folks are getting used to all these new safety protocols. Only issue was a shorter child was unable to reach it. So, we now have a step stool for that issue. I recommend it for business.

Works great but no instructions or how to use the app . App part is kind of confusing to use but the wall thermometer itself is great and easy/fast for use. . Don’t need app to use FYI it’s just fot ogging your temps and changing the alert temp you want notified of. .

Bought 3 of these for staff at work and placed them at the entry near timeclock. Works great, and fast. We do not use the bluetooth functionality, but nice to know we could if needed. Definitely recommend. Oh, and by the way, it's in Centigrade not Fahrenheit, which I like because there aren't any decimal rounding decisions. If you are 38 degrees or above, cannot enter. I hate the fact that American's have never adopted the metric system....

We're so thankful we got this! It's a good price and makes it so (safe) and convenient for your employees to take their daily temperatures. If you do not plug it in all the time, I recommend using a strong velcro for the backing instead, so that you can take it on and off easily to charge. And it doesn't take long to charge. But on one "charge" depending on usage, it lasts about 3-4 days. A must-have these days.

Device is easy to use and install. However, the device worked for only a short time. Changed battery and still didn't work.

Highly recommend this product! No need for manual temperature taking which saves so much time. It quickly scans and reads temperature and clearly notifies when someone has a fever. It’s a huge plus having a thermometer that does require contact with skin. This is the only way efficient way to take the temperature of an entire office. My employees are so thankful I purchased this. It was easy to install and mount to the wall. Very fast shipping! Great product and great seller.
