Can this be used to glue yarn ends in a crocheted or knitted blanket?

Yes but I would use a very small amount and use a toothpick or small object to help place it where you need it.

does this work to reattach broken ear loops on masks?

I haven’t tried it on this. If you’re looking for a quick repair, I wouldn’t recommend it because it takes 24 hours to set. As a Divemaster, I highly recommend you purchase a new mask.
