This Posi fits a GM 10 Bolt 8.5" & 8.6" Inches with 30 Spline Axles. Aftermarket Carrier Style: Clutch-type. Fits 2.73 Gear Ratio & Up., DIFFERENTIAL OIL: Use non-synthetic GL-5 gear oil and Yukon LSD (Limited Slip Differential) additive (ASIN B00J0G09JW, model OILADD) are recommended for durable performance and smooth operation. Synthetic oil is not recommended and can result in aggressive or noisy operation. This unit requires the use of carrier bearing & race part numbers LM102949 & LM102911 for the 8.5 in. housing (2.891 in. Race OD) or LM603049 & LM603012 for the GM 8.600 in. housing (3.062 in.
