but it is great and we are enjoying it very much
We don't put it to hard use (just around our pool), but it is great and we are enjoying it very much. It is a pretty sturdy paddle--I think it would make a nice back up for serious users depending on length needed. It is very light weight and can be used as row boat paddles or a kayak paddle.

Blades assembled backwards, wrong color, no drip rings
The shafts were riveted to the blades opposite of each other. This means that the blades point opposite directions. I had to drill a hole to allow the two halves to be attached so that the blades pointed in the same direction.The description says ORANGE, which is my son's favorite color. The paddle I received is fire engine red.The description says that it comes with DRIP RINGS. Mine didn't have any, so I had to make some out of rubber I had lying around.This would have been returned, but I didn't have time before our river trip. Don't be cheap like me, spend the few extra dollars on the Carlisle, they make awesome paddles.
