Better than the first two volumes of Oriko Magia
If you've read Puella Magi Oriko Magica 1 and 2 and are wondering if this book is worth it, then the answer is "yes." This book is SO much better than the first two. It consists of three stories, the first one being about Kirika and the second one being about Oriko (with Yuma appearing). The last one is a short bonus chapter. This book is in a different timeline than the first one, and instead of fighting magical girls, the duo is getting ready for Walpurgis.First off, the artwork is still terrible. Its not as bad as the first two books, but yeah, it's still pretty bad.Kyoko and Mami don't make an appearance in this book (though Mami is mentioned in a passing comment by an antagonist.) This actually works out better, as Kirika and Oriko get some much needed character development. The duo are also in a protagonist role, not an antagonist one, which helps to make them more likable. Kirika is not nearly as one dimensional as she is in the other two books, and while her obsession with Oriko is still there, so are other parts of her life. We learn about her past, including an old friend, and have more background on her before her wish. Oriko wasn't as one-dimensional as Kirika was in the previous books, but she still benefits from this book, as we learn how her powers are causing her problems. We also see Yuma benefit and end up in a better situation in this book than the first two. There are a few negatives about this book, such as the artwork. The antagonist in the second story is kind of weak and the way she's "defeated" doesn't seem in character for what was presented. Despite having a longer story, Oriko doesn't seem to get as much character devolpment as Kirika does in her story. That being said, if you've read the first two books and liked them, then you'll probably like this one. If you've read the first two books and didn't like them, this one still might be worth checking out. I'd recommend this book over the first two easily.

Oriko Mikuni returns, in all her beauty!
Manga arrived in very short times and I'm so happy to finally have it, since I'm a huge fan of Oriko Mikuni since I bought the spin-off of Madoka, "Oriko Magica".The author is the same of Oriko Magica but looks like there's an improvement in style, which pleaseantly surprised me. Oriko and Kirika are my favourite characters and seeing them again in the new series "Sadness Prayer" and this "Extra Story" volume was music for my ears.I hope to recover the "Sadness Prayer" series when I can, because Oriko has a limited number of fans and would be a shame to not love her adventures.
