Great for an 8 year old-she can do it herself

Used on medium brown hair (lighter than the hair color on box) and it just did not show up very much, even after multiple passes. The color was a tiny bit more noticeable after the hair dried, but not the pop of color we were expecting. If you have very light hair it’s probably more noticeable. Overall it’s still fun, doesn’t dry hair out or make a mess, it’s easy to remove from hair.

This was easy to apply and more gentle than other hair chalks my daughter has received. It looks great in her (blonde) hair and washes out easily.

I love this item and so does my daughter. ALl her friends have come over and they do each others hair. Best part about it its non toxic and washes out right away. Love that she can feel stylish and creative all with a simple swipe of a brush.

My girls have very dark hair and this actually shows up. By the end of the day you can still see it but it is faded a little!

We were really disappointed. We have used hair chalk in the past and the other brand was MUCH easier to use. This did not contain enough chalk in each piece so you had to pull it down and pull hair through with force. My poor daughter's hair started to be pulled out just to try to get some color in it. We will be going to back to Hot Hues Hair Chalk.

It was fun to change hair color instantly. My 10 year old daughter liked it somuch when she went out with pink hair. She wants to buy another one some day.

Does not work on Asian dark brown hair, the blue is the only color that is slightly visible in the light. The water spray doesn’t work either. Totally disappointed.
