Managing Risk and Uncertainty: A Strategic Approach (The MIT Press) Illustrated Edition

This book is a great read. It ties risk management and strategic decision making to insights from economics, finance, management studies and accounting. This is done using a simple, but rich, theoretical framework. The example problems are well chosen and are quite relevant. If you have an interest in strategy or risk management, this book is a treasure.

A most valuable contribution, nicely written - and I admire the author for attempting to give advice by combining a variety of theories from different fields. The final chapters are a bit anticlimactic. Maybe the author will take his story further in a next edition a few years from now?
