I adapted the rules a tad to allow the kids to have the longest opportunity to “stay alive” with their dice. GREAT game that gets the mind going for math problem solving. My favorite aspect is that it is a collaborative game and other players can help think up combinations of numbers to add to the total of the dice. The 8 year old grandson was helping his great grandmother find combinations to equal 11. I have played it with 8, 7, 6, and 4 year old grandchildren, adults, and elderly. ALWAYS played multiple rounds.

Shut the box is one of the most simple, yet fun games around. It’s great for all ages and it’s quick so you don’t have to make a huge commitment to a game but can play many games if you felt like spending some more time playing. The price point for this game is perfect and it’s size is great for being able to keep out on a coffee table or console table without taking up too much space. The color is also really nice and rustic so it goes well with home decor.

Purchased as a grandparent gift. Endless opportunities for interactive and educational fun for many ages. Easy to play yet engaging.

Perfect game for me to play with my granddaughters, aged 7 and 10. They really learned the game quickly, and we played all weekend long. The box is really nicely made, the wood is smooth and having 4 sets of dice is nice, I would highly recommend this game,

Great game and well made! Easy to adapt for different ages and skill levels. Love it for my 4 year old for number recognition and for my older kids for learning number sum combinations. Wish it had instructions included-had to look up online.

I had never heard of this game until my husband ordered it and it is worth every penny. We have fun playing and it was easy to learn.

This is a great game for all ages. It’s helping my young nieces with math skills as well. You can even create drinking games out of it. Get yourself one.
