LRI XMBB X Light Micro Blue Case with Blue LED

I bought 2 of these lights a Red and a Blue. The below is my review which I posted for the Red light. It applies to both colors since they both have the same issue. Its a shame was I really wanted to like these lights. So short review is stay away from these lights if you plan on using them for a dogLiving in a rural area with a large fenced in area which includes a field and woods for the dogs to run around in I sometimes have trouble at night knowing exactly where they are. Having 2 dogs I bought 2 of these lights, red and blue, to hang from their collars so that when they are out and about I have somewhat of an idea of what they are up to.I have been using them for about a month and will say that I like them.ButFirst the red and blue lights use different batteries so I had to buy 2 different styles of replacement batteries. So far I have only replaced the battery in the red light as the dog who uses that is what you could say more adventurous so I never allow her to go out at night without the light on. The male will never leave or jump the fence so he's mostly is allowed out without his blue light on.Another issue I am having is that sometimes when the female is out her light will shut off. Since the light hangs from the collar on the same ring as her tags I can only guess that what is happening is that her movement is causing the tags and light to bang together and switch the light off. It interesting though that I have never seen the light be turned on by the same movement. Thus I have found that I can not trust that not seeing the light means that she has gotten out of the fence. So be warned on this.Update 2014-11-03The light is not trustworthy when used on a dogs collar. As I stated I bought 2 lights, red and blue. Both have issues with the light shutting off. I put the lights on a collar with no tags and the lights still would not stay on. The manufacturers return policy is such that I would need to mail them back for repair or replacement. Shipping cost make that not economical.Thus my warning. If you are buying these lights for use on your dog and it is somewhat active do not buy these lights..
