I purchased the HP Pavilion Gaming 15.6" Laptop (model 15-dk1007na), and it has been an excellent performer for its price. The Intel i5 processor combined with 8GB RAM and the GTX 1650Ti handles most games smoothly at medium to high settings. The 512GB SSD provides quick boot times and ample storage for games and files.The 15.6" display offers good visuals, and the laptop stays relatively cool during extended gaming sessions. The build quality feels solid, and the keyboard is comfortable for both gaming and general use. While 8GB of RAM is sufficient, upgrading to 16GB could make it even better for multitasking.Overall, this laptop is a fantastic choice for casual to moderate gaming and everyday use. Great performance, solid specs, and good value for money!

But Just as good.Normal everyday use Browsing, Streaming, Movies etc.Excellent with the new 144hz 1080 screen everything is smooth and vibrant with the right brightness level.The keyboard keys are perfectly sized for a good typing session, and really pick up well at speed.No issues wifi wise strong connection and fast.Gaming is Exceptional on this machine.Tested at 1080 MAXED outCod Warzone solid 80/90FpsWorld Of Warcraft Latest Version all sliders at 10 (90fps)Starcraft 2 Extreme settings with antialias on (115FPS)Sea Of Thieves at Mythical Settings a solid 80fps.More than enough for a good solid game session.Laptop is eerily quiet for a Gaming Laptop which is nice.Also when not gaming the intel graphics take over so the laptop is silent doing tasks and watching Netflix etc.On first load of these games they were only reaching 40fps? the reason is because the Geforce Experience whisper mode toggle is turned on = TURN THAT WHISPER MODE OFF for max Gpu performance ( load geforce experience after installing Nvidias Latest Drivers etc ) and go in the settings to see the toggle switch.Build quality is a solid plastic. well made laptop. webcam id the usual 720 adequate camera.USB C port does have a lightning badge on it :)Laptop works well with my quest 2 Vr unit with link cable.The only Gripe i have and its tiny is, the green lights that liht the keyboard turn off if you are not using the keyboard, But a quick swipe on the touchpad and there back on again.The HP Pavilion 17-cd1014na 17.3 Inch Full HD Gaming Laptop review score is....( and you know how harsh i am on these items)Review ScoreBuild Quality 9/10Screen Quality 1080p 144hz (same screen the dearer omens have) 10/10Noise Level Everyday Tasks 10/10Gaming Fan Noise (10/10 Excellent)Loading speed 10/10Keyboard response and typing noise level 10/10Webcam 7/10WiFi 10/10Specs overall and performance 10/10.A must Buy for any Gamer you will not be disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. This is my first proper gaming laptop and I have to say I'm very impressed with it for the moneythe quality and feel of the laptop feels excellent, the green backit keyboard looks awesome and it is very good to type with ,yes the battery is OK when in normal use but i keep it plugged in when playing games, it is very fast with loading games like forza horizon 4 and call of duty and plays them very well, id say it gets only warm at best when playing top end games and I've had no issues with it at all ,The speakers are ok and loud for light use but lack bass so for gaming id recommend headphones so you can really enjoy your content, with my headphones it really transforms watching films and playing gamesI upgraded the ram to 32gb and install a second 500gb 2.5 inch ssd as this model already has a second blank slot ready. The 60hz screen is very clear also and everything I have played games videos etc look fantastic, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent gaming laptop which is under 1k , although they have now dropped the price since I bought it so its even more of a bargain 👍 dont think about it get it bought and you won't be disappointed
