**almost 3 year later update**These pillows have lasted longer than my previously stated relationship!!! Ditched the dude. Kept my pillows when I left. NUFF SAID!**********Original review:I got 2 light coffee color avg sized pillows. The light coffee color looks like a mix of a very light brown, mixed with grey and a hint of liiiiight purple hue??? Its the best i can explain it. The back is a velvet shiny grey. You canto see it so it doesn't bother me. Only bad part, it will shed if it's moved around alot. I did not have problems with the zippers. In my photos i put it up against a creme pillow, dark grey charcoal couch and a dark brown leather couch. Well put together. Will buy again! Highly recommend.***almost 4 months later update***Pillows are holding strong and maintaining their fluffy look. It sheds alot if moved around (luckily it's just me & my fiance so it's not a issue) however I will say this DANGER! NOT RECOMMENDED FOR AREA AROUND BABIES!!! Since you can easily pull the fluff out & it sheds, the fluff gets stuck to their fingers and mouth. The tiny fibers are a choking hazard!!!! Like I said it's just me & my fiance, not an issue for us. I still really love these pillows & have yet to find any like them in the store.

WOW total disappointment!!!!! On the pictures, the pillow seems to be grey, with straight hairs, and an ombre colored look. Darker on the inside and lighter on the outside tips. This is what this pillow should look like if it resembles Mongolian fur. However , the actual item looks like a matted out sheep dog, and it is not classy or elegant at all, like some of the other pillow pictures the other reviewers have posted.I am really sad about this purchase because I had been looking for a pillow the style that was pictured for a very long time to complete my bedroom finishes. The item received absolutely WILL NOT DO since I refused to put this sheepdog pillow on my bed. This is going right back where it came from , and I will continue my search probably this time in store.It looks like the seller used to have a good product before, but now they have gone cheap and just started shipping a subpar item now that they got their good reviews going. Such a shame.

I purchased two of these 18" x18" Mongolian pillow covers to help update my family room. I also purchased two other Geo print 18" x 18" and a four pack of 20" x 20" pillow inserts as I wanted the pillows to be firm. I love the contrast of the fabric to the long mongolian fur, that is faux but these pillows are very soft to the touch and the back side is a soft velvety suede type fabric. They were a little more expensive than what I really wanted to spend but well worth it to me The seams and zipper are well sewn and great quality. Yes...they do shed quite a bit and yes I put them on my black sofa and chair. No I'm not crazy. I just have a sticky roller and to pick up the fuzz when needed. Kind of like people that have pets that shed.I don't care because I love the look and they are so soft when I'm lounging, it's all worth it,at least for me.

Great pillow! I was a bit concerned when I ordered and actually thought I might return it as not only does the photo make it look like the fur would be "crimped", I've bought similar pillows from other stores in the past only to have to send them back because the fur would be matted, not soft and just cheap quality. I have to say I am thrilled with this pillow from Amazon! I got it in the gray color and it is super soft, long shaggy fur that isn't crimped, knotted, matted or messy. Greatly enhances my living room and will likely purchase more!The only negative I can give about this pillow is that the fur is only on the front and the back is just fabric, but I knew this when I purchased it so it wasn't a surprise. The fabric completely coordinates with the fur and also has a very nice zipper detail making it easy to add/ remove the pillow inserts.This really feels like a high end, much more expensive pillow. I'm thrilled with it!

When you buy online, it is so hard to know what the real color is based off of photos. Greys,beiges and blush or dusty pinks are my struggle. I have ordered the light coffee and pink and both are what I was looking for. Perfect colors together. The light coffee is like a greige grey beige and the pink is a bit more on the light dusty pink side. I throw everything in the washer before use and followed instructions. I did hang dry and there was minimal shedding. Then when dry, I brushed the hairs out with a soft bristle brush and the covers became so soft and fluffy. I’m so glad they were worth the money unlike other things I have bought online,

This is a nice pillow cover but nothing special. I actually bought it for my cat to sleep on. She likes the softness of the faux fur.After a couple of weeks the strings of the fur are smashed and tangled. The pillow looks like it is 5 years old so I'm glad it's for the cat.

Loooove Ordered the Grey, which is actually more of a mauve. Was really happy about that as I was hoping it would be. It is close to the O.P.I color "You don't know Jacques!" See side by side pic of pillow next to dark grey blanket. Anyway, soon soft and fuzzy. These are great! The back side of pillow is true grey though.

very nice cover. expensive looking, doesnt look cheap. i buy all my throw pillows from pier one, so they dont look cheap, but our pier1 went out of biz so i resorted to trying a few online. this one was one of the better buys, we love it. a word to the wise. if you buy a cover that is 18x18, buy a pillow insert that is 20x20. always buy your insert a size bigger! Yes, it will still fit in your cover, but it will look expensive and full like a pillow should rather than cheap and worn out like it would with the same size cover/insert. you're welcome!

I thought they look really nice... but the faux fur isn’t the best I’ve seen. Still nice though

It wasn't as soft as I would have liked and the strands clump together. Holds up well.

This pillowcase is not worth buying; it sheds like crazy and leaves traces of the faux fur on everything it touches I would not recommend

Absolutely horrible. Rough and a matted mess! Stay away
