It's important to note that this brush isn’t meant for use on hot grates (as stated by Traeger), but for my smoker, where the temperatures stay relatively low (around 230°F, and nylon typically has a softening point of around 325°F-350°F), it works beautifully. The tightly packed nylon bristles do a fantastic job scrubbing off residue, especially when dipped in water, which also helps keep a freshly used smoker grate a bit cooler. Well smack my tail and call me sally. This thing is finer than a frog hair split four ways. I tell ya. This thing cleans a mess madder than a midget with a yoyo. And they jerked a knock it the strings tail so tight It’ll take a tall Indian a week to walk around. Just spend the money like you did on your R rated easy bake oven. If you google the word clean, my Traeger Ironwood XL is the definition after I touched it with this fancy contraption.

Seems to work pretty well if you clean the grill before it is cold.

Do you want a grill brush that does not scratch your grates? Then get this brush. It cleans really well and doesn't have metal bristles which can be a safety hazard. I recommend this brush.

This is one heavy duty grill brush!! it has a very nice weight to it, and the bristles are very strong. It cleans very easily after cooking when the grill is hot. They couldn’t be easier to use. Every accessory I’ve bought from Traeger has been quality just like the grill itself. Do not hesitate on buying Traeger accessories. I bought every single one I possibly could that would work with my girl and I’m happy with every single one of them.
