Review: Unreliable - Refilled ONCE and black is already dead and now I'm out of return window - I've used refillable carts for maybe 20 years on the Canon printers. This one was a real disappointment. I filled them (and these leak BAD when you're filling for some reason) and the black one was showing as empty this morning after only 2 weeks of being in the printer. I pulled it and it's full. Cleaned contacts off good and re-inserted and still coming up and not recognized by printer. I should get more than 2 weeks of use out of these. And the kicker is that they sat on my desk empty for a month b/c I was busy so now I'm outside the return window too. Review: Expensive but hard to find and working well - These are expensive for refillable cartridges especially without ink included but they are working well once I installed them. My printer went from having trouble with all colors to immediately printing nicely both photos and documents. They fit snugly in the printer almost too snugly, but I would rather have a tight fit than a loose fit.

WARNING: THESE WILL DESTROY YOUR PRO100/200 PRINT HEAD!!! INFERIOR SPONGE QUALITY!!
Firstly, the reviewers dinging the product on account of the cartridges only being one time use obviously do not know what they're doing/getting into when it comes to using refillable inks for the pro100/200. Of course they're one use if used in their shipped form. Canon does not want 3rd party refillable inks used with their printers, so these printers don't have an internet reset mechanism. Thus, you always need to both: 1) transfer the chip interfaces from OEM cartridges to these new refillable ones 2) use a usb chip resetting tool, which you have to apply to each ink tank every time you refill it. this way the printer will see it as a full cartridge again. Now onto the main, and HUGE reason why these are terrible, is because of their inherently bad design and vastly inferior parts compared to OEM. And to be fair to the seller, these pitfalls are not unique to their product, but to ALL aftermarket refillable ink tanks. It's primarily due to the the following: 1) these aftermarket cartridges do not have the same ventillation mechanisms as the OEM cartridges, meaning you will not get the optimal ink flow 2) the main tanks on these aftermarket cartridges feature ridiculously cheap ink sponges (as can be seen in my pictures) which degrade extremely quickly or are simply dangerous to use from the start Why is this important? Because a properly saturated sponge is the only barrier between a working print head and a print head that has to be promptly thrown in the trash. The expensive print head mechanisms in these pro 100/200 models (cost around $300 by themselves) are extremely fragile and require a constant flow of ink in order to cool the heads and allow it to keep printing correctly. As soon as there's any blockage/lack of ink flow in any of the 8 cartridges, you're most likely looking at either replacing the print head/printer...or both. I am EXTREMELY pissed because I believe these cheap ink units have clogged my $300 print head after only the first refill. I noticed after the second 8x10 print that the reds extremely off on my print. I didn't want to risk it by running another head cleaning, so I removed the cartridges and inspected. What do you know? The sponge on the PM cartridge looked to be about 20 percent saturated (at best) and filled with nothing but empty air pockets. These CANNOT be tapped/massaged out of place...once they're there, it indicates that the sponge is no longer able to take on ink. AFTER ONLY THE FIRST REFILL! The Magenta and Yellow tanks were also concerning as they exhibited a good amount of air pockets as well. So now I'm left trying to soak and clean my print head in the hopes that I won't be out another $300 bucks. Not to mention all the expensive, top quality Precision Colors inks laid to waste. PISSED. Now compare these sponges to the modified OEM Canon carts. 100% perfect ink saturation/uniformity...almost zero air pockets. Which means optimal cooling and print quality. If only I would have known this ahead of time... Here's the bottom line: DO NOT EVER...I repeat...DO NOT EVER....use aftermarket refillable cartridges for your pro100/200. They will fail sooner if not later...and will brick your expensive printer. You have two options: 1) Modified OEM cartridges (there are people that sell these pre-cleaned/modified) + a USB chip reset tool or 2) simply keep buying one-use ink cartridges, which is obviously more expensive in the long run but may be ok for people that don't need to print as much There are zero alternatives. At least not if you care about having a working printer. These are getting returned ASAP, and frankly I feel the seller should owe me a new printer.....

Don't buy these, they only reset once.
Do not buy this! The printer cartridges only reset once. So after the first refill, the cartridges always show empty. I tried turning the printer off and unplugging the cord, but still the refilled cartridges show empty.

Most expensive possible non solution
These are NOT refillable. If these were honestly represented they would be presented as ONE TIME refillable. A chip resetter will destroy them. So what these are are extraordinarily expensive third party inc, whereas you can get like three sets of ink, maybe even 5 the same price
