This has been a game-changer! I have had mild dermatitis for years and NOTHING seemed to get rid of the redness and bumps on my cheeks and forehead. After using this before bed for just 3 days, I saw almost 100% reduction.There is no irritation from application and the texture and thickness feels perfect as an overnight treatment. Personally, I find it a little to thick to wear during the day but I am just sensitive to having stuff on my face throughout the day. I will also add to what others are saying about the hairline...it does cling to your hair, so be sure to avoid the hairline or make sure to pay extra attention to cleansing the area at the end of the day.There is no added scent, but it does smell like oats, which I find pleasant, just be aware if this is something that would bother you.

This is the first time I’ve ever written a review of a product ever and I’ll explain why. My childhood eczema came back about 4 years ago - I would get it on my face (mainly on my cheeks and around my eyelids) but it would only flare up very occasionally. Last fall my work schedule went crazy so I was super stressed and not sleeping, and my eczema flared up massively and nothing I tried would get it to go away for longer than a couple days. I tried OTC steroids, la roche posay, and cerave without much luck. I decided to give this a go in December 2021 and I genuinely have not had a flare up ever since (very rarely I will feel it a tiny bit or cheeks will start going a little red but it goes away before I could even call it eczema). I use it every morning, after I shower, and then most nights. I stopped using any other skin routine products at all and now will only let this touch my face (though I occasionally use Aveenos exfoliator like once a week too). I’m always hesitant to put something solely down to just one product as I don’t want to mislead people so I will add 2 caveats - one is that around the same time I started using this, my work schedule calmed down ever so slightly (still not much though), and also I started to add turmeric to my morning smoothies as I heard that helps. That said, I truly think it is this product that has contributed 95% of keeping my eczema away.I’ve been meaning to write this review for like 4 months but I’m lazy and never got round to it, but I feel like eczema can be a pretty emotional / difficult thing and I’m so extremely grateful for this product that I finally forced myself to write this review to share my experience. Obviously what works for people differs depending on individual skin so this may not be everyone’s holy grail, but I can’t stress enough that at the very very least I think it’s worth just giving this product a try. This is the one product I am 100% loyal to and will never swap out of my routine.

I decided to take a break from Cetaphil and WOW....this was a nice surprise. My hands are as soft as silk. Great for dry skin as advertised. Not greasy and very effective. Highly recommend.

Like many others here, I have eczema. Fortunately, my eczema only becomes an issue during the winter months when the air is very dry and cold. It's become more of an issue as the years have gone by, though. It also becomes worse as winter progresses. My skin becomes dry, scaly, flaky, it cracks and itches and burns. What I have done to address my skin problem:1) Taken cold showers instead of warm showers.2) Have a humidifier in my room.3) Apply lotion twice a day.4) Drink lots of waterAll these things have only helped to keep my skin from becoming unbearably dry, but they have not helped to actually heal my skin. It continues to get worse as winter drags on. I've tried all types of creams and lotions and none of them have helped. No matter what I use, it always seems to leave my skin feeling dry again within hours. Some days I fantasized about just laying in a tub full of lotion for the entire day, just to give myself some relief from the dryness. =)When I first used this Aveeno cream, it was right before I went to bed. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed my body was somewhat sweaty, which never happens during the winter, as my skin becomes so dry it keeps me from sweating normally. I also noticed that my skin was still moist and that I had a lot of loose, flaky skin. Not the bad kind of flaky, but the good kind, the kind where your skin becomes flaky when you heal from a sunburn and it becomes to peel. When I went to shower that night, all the flaky skin just rubbed off. This lotion has been effective in keeping my skin moisturized to where the dead skin that accumulated on the surface during the first few weeks of winter is beginning to separate and peel. It's been about 4 days and now I can definitely see and feel the difference. There is still a small amount of flaky skin here and there, but I estimate another week of usage of this cream and my skin should be fully restored.I am very glad I did not give up on my search for a solution to my skin issues. I feel the quality of my life has greatly improved with this cream. No more having to deal with painful winters.I can see why this is so expensive: it actually works.
