Work well even in the winter in a very dull Liverpool.
UPDATE JAN 2021, both camera now at 100% charge and we are in the middle of winter in the UK. No water ingress yet. You may need to tweak the position in the winter, moved mine a little and it made a big difference. Fitted one to my Reolink pro in October, it was at 33% of its charge. Even though we are in the middle of winter its now on 100% charge. Fitted another one yesterday and has taken charge from 33% to 45% even though the sun has not been fully out. All my Reolink cameras now don't need a manual charge. Used some weather proof tape to seal the connection but the shroud supplied is a good fit anyway. Very happy. I used brass screws to prevent any corrosion and make them easier to remove if needed.

Reassuringly good..
We have a remote mine site, up on the Cumbrian Fells, which people are trying to break into. We've installed one of these cameras on the portal - amazingly the area has good 4G mobile signal. All the project team, and the local farmer on whose land it is on, now have the Reolink app on their phone, and any of us can view the portal 24 hrs a day. Anyone going near it hears a piercing alarm, and is left in no doubt as to the fact that we know they are there, and will be in attendance shortly with the police. We can even switch to microphone and speak to them. We've a solar panel supply which seems to be working well - last check the power was at 94% battery. Photos show night and day quality. Setting it up was easy for even technophobes like us, and we are able to see live view, take photos and videos, and get alarms when anything goes near the entrance - we are just trying to work out how to stop the sheep triggering it when they go into the portal for shelter... This is an amazing bit of technology - simple, inexpensive, and does what it says on the can..

So useful for the Reolink Go
So I’ve had a Reolink Go in my garage for about a year. It’s excellent, but it’s a pain having to remove the battery every month or so to charge it. This panel is now attached to the outside of my garage roof. It’s in a south-facing position but is restricted by trees. But even on a cloudy, overcast autumn day, it is charging the camera. The Reolink app shows a little sunshine icon when the camera is being charged by solar. As my camera doesn’t get much action (it’s in a dark garage and only activates when the door opens at night) the panel is perfect for keeping it topped up. Another quality Reolink product 👍🏼

does what it says
This is a great little solar panel for the Reolink camera and keeps the battery topped up. As with most cameras battery life is subjective but I found battery needed charged at least once every 3 to 4 weeks. Plug in the solar panel and it keeps to 100%. If you check first thing in the morning the battery level will show 97% ish but as soon as it is light tops up to 100%. The panel comes with a 4 meter plus cable which some people may find difficult to hide but all I done was carefully wrap it mounting mounting arm and secured with a cable tie. look a lot neater than coiled up.

Does a great job of keeping the battery at 100%
Simple to install, not too large that its obtrusive or an eyesore and does a great job of keeping the battery charged. Solar panels can get sun damaged after a time in hot sun (especially hot countries) so ive tried to keep it out of direct sunlight and midday sun. This could have backfired with lack of charge , but thankfully the charge it produces has been more than enough even with this to keep the unit working nicely. a definate recommendation if you want to avoid the pain of batteries or mains power.

Doesn't charge properly
Does not charge my Reolink camera. I've bought the larger solar panel after our last panel failed after a few years however this one come with an adapter to take it from usb C to micro usb. In a month I've had to bring the camera inside to charge a the battery was flat. Some days it charges them other times won't charge for days on end.

Nice and large.
Having ruined the solar panel that came with Reolink, I had to buy this. It is much larger than the one supplied and works well. Constant full charge. My neighbour fitted the Reolink bracket and the solar panel. Then I had trouble getting the thing to connect, so everything was left for a while. When I came to plug the lead in, it had got damp and didn’t work…..my silly fault!
