Kenai Chest Holster for a Glock - Black

This chest rig works perfectly for my Gen 3, Glock 22, S&W .40 pistol. I use this during backcountry backpacking trips. No slippage and the retention holster firmly holds the weapon in place until you need it. The main advantage is having your sidearm close without the waist straps of your pack getting in the way of you need it. There is also enough room on the front straps to add a can of bear spray or other items should you need them. The strap that goes over the shoulder can chafe at the neckline while in a t-shirt, but there was zero chafing wearing any collared outdoors shirts. As with any retention holster, drawing the weapon may have more resistance than you are normally used to, so I would recommend safely practicing with dry fire drills until you are comfortable.It’s lightweight, comfortable, and durable in punishing weather. I would highly recommend this in combination with bear spray, especially in bear country. It help me keep both items close when needing them was a matter of survival.

Great holster for outdoor activity, and is comfortable and well-made. It has excellent retention, so I don't need to worry about losing my pistol while running or mountain biking. As such, it'll take a bit of force to overcome the retention when you need to draw. I am able to draw one-handed, but some may find it necessary to hold the holster with one hand while drawing the pistol with the other. There is no tension adjustment screw, and I'm not sure how much easier it may get over the years. There is plenty of clearance for tall front and rear sights (see image).

Fits perfectly, tight to chest and easily adjustable for clothing being worn. I will order for other firearms, simply outstanding product.

The straps and clips could be better quality and more durable for the crazy amount of money you buy this for. It's just a kydex holster supported by straps. Nothing "new" or particularly special. I DO think it's way overpriced $$$$$Fits good and is positioned and designed well. Perfect fit for my Glock 23. I wear this under my soft body armor as my backup firearm . You can get a similar chest holster noticeably cheaper at Alien Holsters. The company would do well to consider lowering its price point.Got this rig.Am satisfied with it.But if I had to get one again I'd go with the Alien Gear one.

If you are looking for a good chest carry holster, this will do the job.

I wanted this for increased mobility while hunting, and this chest holster definitely delivered! Feels very secure when the straps are properly tightened, good tension has held the pistol in place through miles and miles of hiking. If you've hunted with a sidearm on your hip as long as you can remember, you'll also appreciate how getting that weight off your hip will noticeably reduce fatigue. This is not an inexpensive item but has been worth every penny so far!

I originally had intentions to use it for my G40, and it works! It stated for the G30/G29, but will work with the G40, G20/G21, and amazing enough the G22 and G27. It’s a better snug fit with the bigger frames.
