It’s a great way to have a handy back up away from home.

I bought this because I had a variety of files that averaged 500GB. The files included photos, videos and various documents. I could only get so far when the stick would say "files corrupted." I used the stick on various computers. I even loaded all my stuff on the hardrive and downloaded the entire folder at once (instead of adding each file one at a time). Half the stuff showed up, the other half said "files corrupted and unreadable." I must have cleared and formatted the stick 6 times. Pure junk! I've learned my lesson.

Verified it is a 1 TB drive. Initial testing found the exFAT format (also tried NTFS format) didn't seem stable across the different OSes I wanted to use it with. Formatting it to FAT32 worked well - reads and writes in Lubuntu 20.04, Xubuntu 20.04, Win 10 Pro, even Win XP SP3. Have been using this drive regularly for the last five months with no issues.

Not that I expected it to be for the size and price, but this is not a 2TB drive as listed. The transfer speed is really too slow to be a practical, usable drive even for a smaller capacity drive.

I got about half my files transferred to the usb drive, and it just stopped working. I have been battling this for months. I am trying to combine pictures onto one drive. I bought one, and it decided it needed reformatting and dumped years of photos. I bought this one as a replacement. I was able to add some pictures, and all of a sudden, it stopped saving. I am back to the beginning. I am SO frustrated. This was a total waste of money.
