Severin Reise-kettle-Set, 0,5 L

This is probably the same design as the Sage Compact 1L kettle but the Sage is close to £80. Excellent to use as the clear 0.5L mark on the side is ideal for 2 mugs, so you never need to boil more than you need. This is the best kettle I have ever had overall I think, my only very slight disappointment is my previous kettle was 3kW and this is 2.2kW so slightly slower to boil, but it's a very minor point and you quickly get used to it. I think they are sent from Germany but it does have a UK plug. Highly recommended as it pours well as well. Go for it.

BIT SLOW ON HEATING THE WATER

Its a little small but I like that.still gets enough water in it.and noise levels ok seems well made to luv it.

Boils quickly and pours well. Easier to full with water via lid, rather than spout and be careful of metal casing, as this will be hot!

Where spout joins body of kettle there is rust, this should not happen after only a few weeks

I originally wrote that it was well made and good quality. I bought it to make formula for the baby as I didn’t want plastics seeping into her milk. However only 1 year in and stainless steel at the top has rusted? Poor quality in the end, buy something that’s safe

Questo bollitore da 1 litro è compatto ma molto potente, con 2200W, un valore raro per le sue dimensioni. Grazie a questa potenza, l’acqua si scalda rapidamente, rendendolo ideale per chi vuole preparare tè o altre bevande calde, o anche scaldare l'acqua per la pasta, senza lunghe attese. La costruzione in vetro e metallo è un punto di forza: non solo dona un aspetto elegante e solido, ma è anche molto pratica. Il vetro permette di tenere d'occhio l'acqua, utile se si vuole interrompere il riscaldamento prima dell’ebollizione, e aiuta a monitorare meglio lo stato di pulizia del bollitore, in particolare per il deposito di calcare (sempre la parte più noiosa da gestire). Rispetto ai modelli in plastica, il vetro si scalda molto di più: mentre i bollitori in plastica spesso restano toccabili anche con l'acqua bollente all'interno, questo no. Probabilmente disperde anche più calore nell'ambiente, ma per me il vantaggio estetico e pratico ne vale la pena. Il prezzo non è bassissimo per un bollitore, ma tra quelli in vetro è comunque tra i più abbordabili. Se cercate un modello potente, ben costruito e con un design elegante, questa è una scelta valida.

We really love this compact one super handy and doesn't take a lot of space in our tiny kitchen :)
