I love that this unit is slim, it fits really well in my small space. The controller seems very accurate, the number on the control matches a high end room monitor exactly. The reservoir is nice and big though maybe a bit tricky to fill without spilling since it is narrow but I don't mind working around that issue.

I researched which was the best humidifier to get and it seems that children and elderly people must have burned themselves on the Warm Mist Humidifiers so that you can only find Cool Mist Humidifiers. This meant that I couldn't find a good replacement for my previous Warm Mist Humidifier that worked wonderfully. The only Warm Mist Humidifiers available that I could find were really small. Very disappointing. So, I decided to try a large room/whole house humidifier. These also were only available in Cool Mist unless I wanted to spend a lot of money on installing a humidifier on my furnace.PROs:1) It holds a LOT of water. I thought that was great.2) It's on wheels that keep it a few inches above the floor.3) It doesn't make a lot of noise, just a slight gurgling.4) Not much else after that.CONs:1) It's a cool mist humidifier. The mist comes out cold (not cool) and makes the floor cold near the humidifier.2) The mist just drops to the floor and doesn't mix with the ambient air unless you want to keep your house at about 75 degrees Fahrenheit or above.3) This particular cool mist humidifier's remote stopped working after pressing the buttons 4 times. The power button still works though.4) The feature to make the display go dark for sleep time stopped working the 2nd time I tried to use it.I wouldn't recommend ANY cool mist humidifier.

Have owned several different "heat element" type humidifiers...all broke beyond repair within a year...heating element got gunked up with water contaminates, even though I have a neutralizer and filtering system on my drilled well water...three water testing facilities tell me it's the best water they've ever tested...crystal clear, very little iron, etc... Bought this ultrasonic unit last fall...LOVE it!!!!!!!!! Just put water in it and it puts that water into the air....no build-up of anything....works just as well today as it did six months ago...money VERY well spent!

I love this humidifier. It is sleek and attractive. It has good controls and output. The customer service is very good. My control panel failed and they are shipping me a new unit. I hope this new unit lasts longer. I did not have any leaking problems some other users have identified.

In flu season the cold/dry air especially when Santa Ana wind blows in Southern California exacerbates respiratory discomfort. The outdoor humidity often drops below 15% and when heat is turned on indoor humidity drops even more. Other humidifier (about 6L tank class, about $50 ones) often do not specify the throughput (liter per hour) rather they stress running hours (like 20-60 hours). The longer the running hour the less the throughput. I have run a $50 at max setting for 3 hours and the indoor humidity reading from the thermostat barely even moves by 1%. Also because the humidifier is small much of the mist simply drops in front of the humidifier making the floor/desk surface wet. This humidifier is probably the only one that works to actually raise the indoor humidity by more than 1 or 2%, that costs less than $200. It actually specifies throughput of 1.5L/h. This means 4 hour run time for 6L tank, which is 5x more throughput than the other $50 6L humidifier that specifies 20h run time. By pointing the two output pipes in opposite direction, it is far more efficient at making the air absorb the mist produced, instead of just making the surface in front of it wet. Huge difference that you can FEEL!

Thought this was going to be a great addition...instruction book doesn't give a lot of details. Can't get it to go to "F" as opposed to "C" for temp...not really sure it's working right because it's been plugged in all day and hasn't reached a point where it's stopped sending out humidity yet, been running all day. We liked that it's a nice slender unit and liked that we could direct the humidity in two directions but can't seem to figure out if we have it set right. No useful instructions and QC video instruction info was Japanese, so no help there other than set up pictures..

I really wanted this to work for my needs.The tank wouldn’t communicate with the base below, even after try to trouble shoot and fill the base first to raise the floater. After manually filling it before setting the tank upon it, I turned it on and about a half hour later, it alarmed that it was out of water (bc the base diffused our and none of the reservoir drained in). It seems like a straightforward piece of equipment. But if you need to troubleshoot, good luck. I sloshed 4gal water around when I tried in vain to reseat it thinking that may be the issue. I ended up with water all over the carpet and a soaking direction book, which is useless anyway bc it’s all in Korean with pics so small, they’re too difficult to decipher.Additionally, I wanted to use this with a WiFi switch. But it doesn’t automatically turn on once given power. Need this in an analog version!There is also a crack in the seam that is slowly dripping onto my floor. Time to go empty this thing and return it.

S'arrête tout seul pour une raison inconnue. Doit être redémarré pratiquement à chaque jour.Power is removed automatically for an unknown reason. Must be manually restarted almost every day. Normally stops working after filling with water (4 inches below the MAX line).Dripping on the floor when near empty.

Manque un peu d'ajustement pour l'orientation des jets de brume. Tuyau extensible devrait être flexible

Cant get the display to work properly ; does not shut off by itself. Good humidity.

This unit is very nice looking, largest one available anywhere. Will be useful in our dry climate.
