sacred words
As usual Rabbi Pinson doesn't disappoint. This book offers an in depth understanding of the importance and power of the prayer for a deceased person. The words of kaddish are profound and Rabbi Pinson makes it easy to understand. Even the word Amein is a confirmation by the congregants that signifies their involvement in this sacred prayer. If you have ever wondered why the deceased person is not mentioned in this prayer...this is the best way to hear the real message beneath the words.i highly recommend it.

OK If you need some beginner info into Kaddish
Flimsy book for the uninitiated. No revelations. If you don't know anything about Jewish ritual and Kaddish thebook will fill in some of the gaps. Lightweight insights. More of a pamphlet than a book.

Profound!
Kaddish might be the most well-known prayer in Judaism. But the profundity of its inner meanings is hardly known. This book reveals the meditative intent and insight hidden within each phrase of the prayer, as well as interesting historical information. If you have unfortunately lost a family member, this booklet will balance your grief with hope. Rabbi DovBer Pinson wrote it during his own mourning period for his beloved mother. I think that's one reason the words entered my heart so deeply. They are written from the heart.
