Extremely Comfortable and High Quality
These are some of the most comfortable boxers I’ve owned. The modal fabric is incredibly soft, lightweight, and breathable, and they hold up well throughout the day without riding up. The support pouch is well designed and provides good support without feeling restrictive. Moisture wicking works as advertised and keeps things comfortable even during long days or active use. Fit is true to size and the waistband is comfortable without digging in. After several washes, they’ve held their shape and softness with no issues. Definitely planning to buy more.

The Micro Modal is a game changer
I first saw the material on an instagram ad for a brand called As We Move - but thought spending $40 for a single pair of boxer briefs was a tad ridiculous - but still was willing to as who can deny optimal comfort this close to ones' nethers and further, what price is too high for such comfort? The biggest gripe I had with many boxers, all cotten, or cotton-elastane, or even David Archy's Bamboo Viscose is absorbability. All those left me feeling not entirely dry unless it was cotton elastane and regular boxers but who wants to wear grandpa shorts save for sleeping? And if you have a significant other of the opposite gender and expect her to wear sexy underwear and show up in grandpa shorts - that's not coming to Bat with your A-game. Micro-modal changes that. I can sleep in these and not have that faint wet feeling that boxer briefs tend to leave under the sheets. At least for me, but I don't sweat a lot - just get really warm, especially under the sheets. Recap: 1. Looks and feels good. Your significant other will appreciate it. 2. Can sleep in these without feeling uncomfortable and look good while you're at it without having to give up comfort. My Build and Fit 1. Mederate athletic - flat stomach 2. 5'8 - 186 Lbs, but would be wearing the same size even if I lose 10 lbs - normally between size 31-32 pants but I wear a large in these micro modal boxer briefs and they fit snug although you won't feel like they're hugging you - in fact it will almost feel like they're loose but if you look in the mirror they're not. Bottomline: My entire line up of undies is getting thrown out and replaced with Micro-Modal. One pack at a time. Caveat: This is for the single variation https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09T9Q4Z55 on this page that has a seamless waist band - all others don't have this even though they are made of the same material. Also this variation has the silver ion compound that the other variations on the page don't have. It costs $5 more but I think these two features are well worth it. The seamless waistband alone makes a huge difference when sleeping. Verdict: Well worth the price for what you're getting and the fact that the brand probably has to go through an X amount of waste on product returns because it takes us a couple of sizes to get fitment right. Which is why I mentioned my stats right above.

Happy to wear these
Had goal of finding new boxer briefs, thinking cotton or other natural blend for everyday use, to complement the synthetic travel/athletic boxer briefs that I have been very happy with: Saxx Sport Mesh Boxer Brief and the ExOfficio 6” Give-N-Go Sport 2.0 Boxer Brief. All of options I tried were size Medium. All of them fit well in the leg, leg opening, back/butt, waist. All of them had fabric that felt great. All of them looked great and appeared to be well made. So what it came down to was the pouch or hammock, meaning the ability to keep the dangling pair off of the leg (otherwise I would have ordered boxers instead of boxer briefs). And there were some big differences. Tried the following (in this order): Nike Men’s Everyday Cotton Stretch Boxer Briefs: Pouch gets a D. These often needed adjustments. I won’t be keeping these. BAMBOO COOL Men’s Underwear boxer briefs Soft Comfortable Bamboo Viscose Underwear Trunks. Pouch gets a B. These felt great, but did occasionally warrant some adjustment. Otherwise excellent, I’ll keep these. Saxx Non-Stop Stretch Cotton Boxer Brief: Pouch gets an F. Although my prior experience with Saxx products has been great, and although these say non-stop stretch, the stretch definitely stops in the pouch area. I was constantly aware of these pressing in on me, and eagerly awaited the opportunity to get out of them. Saxx DropTemp Cooling Cotton: Pouch gets a B. Still sometimes more grippy than I find comfortable, but not bad. Overall, I’d rather have to make the adjustments with the BAMBOO COOL than feel the tightness of the Saax DropTemp Cooling Cotton. DAVID ARCHY Men’s Underwear Soft Cotton-Modal Blend Boxer Briefs with Fly Boxer Shorts: Pouch gets an A-. These are basically perfect. The only thing is that the fly is horizontal instead of the classic vertical. I didn’t find that to be good or bad, but note that the classic fly has 2 layers of fabric between you and the outside world, while the horizontal design has only one layer between you and the outside world. Really liked these, and wanted to try this brand with a traditional fly, so ordered two other styles. DAVID ARCHY Men’s Underwear Ultra Soft Micro Modal Moisture-Wicking Boxer Briefs with Fly for men: Pouch gets A. Happy to wear these. DAVID ARCHY Men’s Boxer Briefs, Bamboo Mens Underwear, Boxer Briefs for Men with Fly: Pouch gets A. Can’t be better.

They feel great!! CK look out!
I have worn Calvin Klien for a number of years, but unable to find them for the price I bought them for originally off eBay (and yes they were legit in original retail packaging). But they were not the modal version. Plus the bright, pastel colors are not for me. These feel great. Very comfortable and not hot at all. I usually wear a M, so I ordered a M b/c reviews were confusing. Some said order two sizes up, some said order a size smaller (fit is different for everyone). I suggest ordering your normal size. Amazon has already adjusted size chart for the difference. I ordered what I normally wear. I typically wear a 32W and thought I had moved up to a 33. But after measuring my waist, I was depressed to see that I'm actually a 35. But the M still fits fine without cutting into my waist. The waist band is small compared to the CK's and I thought it would cut into my waist, but it didn't. Another 1/4-1/2 in would be nice and more grip. It's rather slick. They don't really ride up, but I believe b/c the material is sleeker, that it may ride up with some. You will have this issue with most of the short trunks b/c of the cut and material. When you sit down it tends to cause them to ride up b/c of the resistance put on the material. Longer ones won't do this b/c there's more surface area to grip the thighs. The crotch pocket is a little too roomy for me. The CK's fit snug, but comfortably. I can also tell that the stitching that runs down the middle of the crotch where it's double backed tends to cause an abnormal crease/bulge to that area after washing that causes them not lay flat. Maybe a poor choice on the stitch pattern or how the aligned the material. I don't have the CK modals to compare, but my other CK's didn't do this. They were primarily cotton though. But for the price and overall quality I am happy. Not sure how long they will last as I'm trying to take care of them like delicates. My CK's lasted almost 5 years until the elastic finally degraded. Look at the pics below and see what the size says. U.S. and European sizes are different, but The sizing chart seemed to work out. Even though I technically should be in a large, I believe they would be too loose in the crotch and around my legs. These worked out fine and I would order another set if they continue to hold up and stay at this price point. **UPDATE 5/7/16 ** Just thought I would give an update on these amazing trunks. I will DEFINITELY be buying more. They feel great and have held up well. No holes, tears, broken elastic, etc. I just wish the pouch was made different so that the stitching would not double up and create excessive bulging. You cannot be the price though! Thanks David Archy for making a great, affordable product. Calvin Klein is way overpriced.

Goodness gracious, great balls of comfort!
These underwear have been an absolute godsend. They’re comfortable, they keep me cool where it matters and boy oh boy are they comfortable. The material is very thin and soft against the skin and looks and feels to be of high quality. In my old underwear(some basic Hanes) after a hard days work I would usually feel hot, a bit sweaty and sweaty smelling down there but since switching to these David Archys, I’m happy to report that I’ve been cool, dry and smelling fresh down there. I would also like to mention that I’ve experienced ZERO ride up. These things stay in place throughout the day but even if they didn’t, they’re soft enough that I doubt I would notice it. The 3D support pouch has also been a game changer for me and is something all men’s underwear should have. I could never go back to free hanging after experiencing pouch support. If you haven’t already, do yourself and your boys down there a service and get some underwear with a support pouch.

David Archy Micro Modal Trunks..............as good as CK Underwear at a very Affordable Price!!
I'm in my early 60's and at 5-11 and 175 have kept myself in shape for the majority of my life. Currently, I wear size 36 jeans but the fit me very loose at the wasitline. I have spent the last two years getting rid of my cotton underwear and switching over to bamboo boxers. They are nice & I love the bamboo blend material but the boxers are a little to baggy for me. So Ive switched to bamboo blend and/or micromodal/modal in trunk or boxer brief which I really enjoy wearing. I never thought I would be doing a review on mens underwear but these new versions are very nice and just flat out comfortable to wear plus the wife thinks I look sexy in 'em. When I got the bamboo boxer briefs and trunks I was really jazzed. When I got the first modal trunks that was even better but these DA micromodal are just outstanding even when I compare the inside stitching, DA just does a very good job of quality control. I had just ordered another highly rated modest priced modal underwear here on Amazon and both pairs were defective and one already had a small hole by the seam. Thank goodness Amazon worked with me on this to get it settled (as usual)! But I digress, back to DA, this four pack at this price is an incredible buy when you compare it to the price of one similar CK trunk. The fit and feel of these DA micromodal is outstanding. As far as longevity, we'll see......... For the money and quality, DA is at the top of my list when it comes to similar underwear imported into the US. DA and Hoerev are quickly becoming some of my favorite bamboo and modal/micromodal boxer briefs and trunks!! Also, much thanks to other reviewers who said to order up a size then what you wear normally. Typically I always buy large but bought the XL for these DA trunks and they fit very comfortable with no squeeze at the waistband nor is the waistband to loose......I just wish DA had more colors for their underwear!!!

Comfortable, excellent wicking, and a great feel - w/slight quality issue
I had absolutely no idea what I was missing by sticking to regular old cotton underwear. I have tried nearly everything (briefs, boxers, boxer-briefs) and thought it was just me. I could never find a brand or style that I enjoyed wearing throughout the day and that I thought provided the support and comfort that should be expected in undergarments. I had no clue what micro modal was (and probably still couldn't explain it), but figured I'd give these a shot. The packaging, upon arrival, was far different than the plastic bag or cardboard wrapper I'm used to. Each pair was in a nicely designed box, inside of another box. Had I just purchased designer underwear? Was this going to be a horrible moment? I removed a set and tried them on and let me try to convey the pure comfort these provided. Smooth like silk, yet form fitting like spandex without all the compression. There was room in the front for everything to fit comfortably and the overall fit was spot on. My only two issues with these (and again, it may just be me) are that the legs tend to ride up on me sometimes and there appears to be a manufacturing issue that causes a small hole to form in the bottom, crotch seam where the stitching appears to begin/end. While the riding up is easily ignored and/or adjusted, the hole forming so quickly after purchase is a little annoying. I did contact the manufacturer, who then asked me for photos of the problem before issuing a partial refund. I would rather have undergarments that last a bit longer, but they appear willing to look at issues and make them right or fix them before they happen. Overall, some great underwear and definitely a brand I will be keeping in mind for future purchases. If you have a particular style of underwear you like (brief, boxer, etc) and haven't tried this micro modal fiber stuff yet - you really should. You may find you really enjoy the comfort, coolness provided by the excellent wicking, and feel.
