One of the ratings in this review is for flavour. Personally I can't comment but my 7 month old Border Collie, Kip, absolutely loves it. As a connoisseur of chewable items (socks,, cushions, toys and fingers) he prefers this to everything else he has tried (even me); he will happily chomp on it for a couple of hours at a time. After hours of dedication, he managed to chew the corners off of one end before his jaw muscles called halt. Thankfully no broken teeth even though the chew is hard enough to dig the garden with. Although a bit expensive it is worth it's weight in gold not only in the hours of enjoyment Kip gets, but also in saved chair legs.Kip gives it a high five (yes he can do that, but he is useless at recall), and so do I. Buy your furry family member one, they get something nice to chew and you get an hour or two of peace and quiet. Perfect.Many thanks for reading!

Dog loves them but only lasts about a day, so quite expensive, he is only a puppy too!

Great product my dogs loved them they lasted about half an hour so not what I hoped for as I thought they might have lasted longer than that and to be honest I will stick to chews that last much longer in the future !

My dog absolutely loves this chew! I have been buying this chew for a couple of years from Purplebone, which also ranges other great products for your pooch!A great chew made from yak milk which gives him loads of nutrients which is what I love from a treat. He spends AGES which is a great distraction for me and him and I also buy them in store, but to have them sell online is even better!My dog has been enjoying them for a long time and never leaves it unfinished, even popping it in the microwave when it gets to really small bits, it’s even tastier! and it also reduces the plaque on his teeth! He never leaves it alone and no upset tummy. All in all, a wonderful chew.Thanks Purplebone!

First of all my dog loves the smell, texture and taste of the Yak Milk chew. He also is very possessive of it, not allowing us to play together as he does with his trusty Nylabone. However, he is a border with a strong chew which tempted me to buy on the ad's claim "Strong & Extra Long Lasting, 100% Natural". Natural it is, strong and long lasting not so. His first chew, he discovered by throwing down it would break, once that occurred, the whole chew was devoured in 48 hours. The second one, he broke again but likes to carry one part around and the other he's chewing with gusto and force. If your dog has a heavy bite or chewing action, it might not last very long, but would be perfect for a dog who likes to 'gently' chew and enjoys sniffing the meaty milky aroma.

I used to get mine from Pets @ Home where they were exactly the same product but a lot more expensive.Our WCS loves his, because it is hard and stays hard there's no messy bits, unless he really has a good chew on it, but as he is such a good puppy he cleans all the little bits away too.ideal for boredom breaking if you work from home like me or if you have to leave for a while if you got out.I have given these to my WCS since he was 6 months old.

Great product...adored by our little Maltipoo..he can't get enough of it.All natural ingredients and no bad tummy for our little pooch, which, for him, is a massive result....we are so used to bad tummies with any and every dog product, but not this!Very tough product, takes some strong healthy teeth to get through it.Our little dog got through his first yak in just over two weeks, so didn't last quite as long as I had hoped. We microwaved as per the instructions and he enjoyed the puffed up snack.3 pack ordered as a result...hopefully he doesn't get through it quite as quick.

My 2 year old miniature long haired dachshund, a remarkably strong and almost standard sized dog, soon broke up the medium sized bars of this stuff, which worried me, it is very hard, sharp edged stuff when broken, as the vet later remarked!… so I bought the large size. He broke that in half very quickly. He did like them but after a few days of experimenting with giving him these yak milk bars, after this particular one he was terribly, terribly sick, on and off for all night and for a whole day. He had an X-ray to try to see if there was an intestinal blockage, which on searching I found some dogs had needed operations for, after using these bars. Others said they were the only treats that had ever upset their dogs digestion. Wish i had searched for ‘problems with’ before I bought them. He also had a temperature, could their have been an infection in the yaks milk?… he has never been ill and needed antibiotic injections before plus probiotics to help calm his digestion. I really thought I was losing him. I was suspicious at the casual packaging the bars arrived in with only a bit of cling film wrapping them and no information. Didn’t seem like a very professional producer. Never again!

Ik bestelde deze 3 Geharde Yak Milk Dog Chew Treats, ik zocht naar het gewicht en zag 220gram staan. Ik was in de veronderstelling dat ze per stuk 220gram zouden wegen. Maar ze wegen maar 75gram per stuk na levering. Ik heb vaker andere Yak milk chew treats gekocht. Maar deze stinken veel meer dan de anderen. En als de hond erop knaagt worden ze week en vies, terwijl die andere die ik elders gekocht had dat niet doen. Dus ik vind deze van een slechte kwaliteit. Jammer! Geen aanrader wat mij betreft.
