I've been looking for instant custard since Jello brand discontinued theirs. I was very happy with the taste if this brand. Only need boiling water to make. which makes it very simple to use on cakes that require a custard filling.

I grew up in England so am very familiar with Birds custard. I have purchased instant custard powder numerous times. This last time,even with half the amount of water stated in directions , it still ended up with the consistency of milk. I tried all 3 packets with the same result. If this is their new recipe I certainly will not be buying again

Instant custard that really has a good flavour. Very easy to make with just boiling water as opposed to the one made with boiled milk (which maybe will turn out good - often gets lumps in it). The price is getting a little out of control. They are very inexpensive in England.
