I have decided to try my amateur green thumb and keeping my lavender plant alive. This light is so good that my plant thinks it's a good time to keep grown it's tendrils.

Worked great for 2 years, but then it stopped working. Guessing the timer controls went bad. I couldn't even turn it on.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a very similar light that works on a clamp that I'm super happy with, so when I was looking for a floor light for my plants, I was attracted to this one right away.I love that the timer is incorporated right into the power switch so I don't need to purchase another separate timer, too. (Some people questioned how this timer works-- it is on a 24 cycle- You must set the timer at the time you want to have the light turn on. So if it is 9 am and you enable the timer function, it will go on everyday at 9 am. If you set it for 3 hours, 6 hours, or 12-- it will go on at 9 am for that many hours. It will turn off after that period, and stay off until the next day at 9 am and will just repeat until you manually turn off the timer or change it)There is a function to make the lights dimmer or brighter and also a function to turn on 1, 2, or all 3 lights.I did receive one light and had to return it because there was a short in the cord and it wouldn't light unless I jiggled it just right, and then would turn off again as soon as it got bumped, but I returned it the same day and a few days later, I received a second one that seems to work perfectly.(I am using this for a mix of tropical plants - begonias, philodendron, calathea, etc. The other light I have with the clamp is used for a orchids. I feel this light would be fine for any kind of plants you are trying to grow in your home. The settings make it very flexible.)UPDATE MAY 8, 2022.Worked great for about a year and a half. Then a couple weeks ago, it started flashing and the controls will not work at all (not even to turn it off). As soon as you plug it in, it starts flashing and you have to unplug to make it stop. Too bad because I really liked this. But thought it'd work for longer than a year and a half.

I am very happy with my purchase. Mind you, I am not an expert on grow lights. I love the timer feature. I don't have to remember to turn them on every day. I like that it allows you to change the intensity, I just wish I knew how much is too much light or too little for my big Monstera plant. I also worry that the lights are too close to the leaves of the plant but, that has nothing to do with the light, it is just me not knowing how to use grow lights. I was looking for a tripod type light because my plant is very tall and would have to buy a clip-on type light otherwise. Wish I knew how long the bulbs last with every day 3-hour usage. I recommend it.

It arrived in four days and was well packaged. It did not come with any instructions to put it together but it was pretty straight forward how to attach the lights to the stand and then connect the electrical power. There are instructions on how it actually functions and how to work it. The adjustable height tripod is great so I can have the lights at the correct level. The goose neck lights also make it nice to adjust the direction of the lights. I'm using it over a long plant stand so the design covers all my plants very nicely. An added benefit for me is that the brightness of the lamp seems to improve my mood on dreary days. It's nice to have some inside "sunshine" on cloudy days.Great product and I would recommend to other buyers.

I love the light this lamp puts out. It is substantial, not some light weight flimsy thing. It adjusts very easily so you can put the light where you want it. Because of the LED it does not get hot. Only complaint I am having is I can't seem to reset the timer. I turned it on as soon as I received it and now it wants to come on at 5:30pm. I have done everything to reset it but to no avail. Not a huge thing but still I would like to have the timer on and functional.

This was easy to assemble and I was impressed with how flexible the lighting units were. I was able to light at least 36 inches square. The amount of light each of the three units put out was very good. The stand was a little wobbly but once the lights were adjusted, this wasn’t an issue. I found I didn’t need the timing function since I could easily turn it off and on. My seeds sprouted and the plant grew well. Good purchase for the price.

As I usually do I read a lot of other reviews before I made my own purchase. I am very happy with my purchase. The quality of construction of this product is quite good. The light is bright and the plants that we had just recently brought inside that has begun to struggle seem in a few days to be picking back up. I appreciate that the base is very stable (others that a I read reviews of were said to be top heavy). I wish that the timer was more programable and that it didn't need to be reset after a power interruption, but that is not a major concern for me so far.
