Was quick and easy to fit, re-using the backplate, keep and the cylinder from the old lock, so we can continue to use the same keys as before. The last Yale lock lasted for years - great products and great service from Yale. Please note this does not include a cylinder.

Great lock, but although it shows a cylinder with chrome lock and keys in the picture, the item is just the case part with no lock. So idea if you have a lock and want to replace only the case!

A good quality product that lives up to the Yale brand - even if no longer manufactured in the UK As others have pointed out and as is clearly stated in the description, a suitable cylinder is not included and needs to be purchased separately.

IMPORTANT: There is no barrel or keys with this despite what it says in the description. The title does say case only but is very easily missed as I did. What makes it worse is that the description clearly says: "Includes Yale rim cylinder" "Supplied with 2 standard Yale keys and fixing pack" Neither of these are true so it's false advertising and unfortunately, I don't have an option to report it like I have on other items. As it happens, I already had a cylinder and keys I could use and it the job I wanted it for so I didn't return it. Giving it 3 stars for the case quality rather than the sellers description.

Replaces the standard Yale housing, I already had the cylinder, just the button on the old housing kept popping off. They've cut some corners with this newer one, such as the handle is no longer a solid piece of metal but a thinner piece with ridges.
