Got this as a gift and loved it so much that I bought a second one - one for upstairs and one for downstairs. It made nighttime feeds so much easier while I was recovering and didn’t want to go up and down the stairs. It warms the bottles really fast, usually within a few minutes, but you do have to take them out right away or they can get too hot. BUT do keep in mind, if you leave it in too long, it will COOK the milk and you have to start over as bacteria builds if you overheat the milk. So be careful there and make sure it is room temp before serving to baby! I only used this for the first 5 months as baby started taking cold bottles around then. But for the first 3-4 months of newborn life, this is ESSENTIAL. Enjoy!

The first bottle warmer we tried was the munchkin. It had really good reviews and we like the technology like the LCD screen. However, the temperature setting was only available in Celsius, which isn’t that hard to convert but it would’ve been nice to just be able to see a nice 98.6°. It also was very slow to heat up and did not pull the temperature of the bottle steady. The Phillips is very simple. You just set the dial to the ounces of milk in the bottle and push the power button. When the LED light stop spinning and stay solid, your milk is ready. A lot of times we have to add one or 2 ounces to the setting to get the right temperature but that may just be user preference. Our little one tends to like the milk under or at body temp. This bottle warmer will hold the milk at a very steady temperature for one hour and then shut off milk probably isn’t safe after an hour anyway unless kept in the fridge so if we have a bottle in the warmer longer than the hour we just throw it out.

Sometimes it gets really hot and other times you have to run it a second time to warm a bottle. It takes a really long time to warm a bottle which can be inconvenient, but other than that it’s worked.

I did not want to believe the negative comments as we are talking about a leader brand in baby appliances but they are true! The bottle heater simply does not work. You prepare the formula, put the bottle in, select the correct setting and water level and it just does not heat it up! So you end up with a crying baby in the middle of the night who will be unable to go back to sleep easily…

J’aime beaucoup sa simplicité et facilité d’utilisation. Il n’encombre pas le comptoir et est assez beau pour y rester en tout temps. J’adore aussi la fonction réchaud, qui me permet de réchauffer mon lait à l’avance et le garder à la bonne température pour le moment ou j’en aurai besoin. J’avais lu beaucoup de commentaires avant de le commander et les principaux commentaires négatifs étaient par rapport au fait qu’il ne chauffe pas assez. J’ai simplement fait des tests avec mes biberons (j’utilise les biberons philips avent) et de l’eau qui sortait du réfrigérateur, et j’ai adapté les réglages en conséquence (il se règle selon la quantité de lait, alors je dois seulement le régler pour 1 ou 2 oz de plus que la quantité que j’ai*) *si je laisse le biberon sur la fonction réchaud, je règles à la quantité exacte du biberon pour éviter qu’il ne soit trop chaud. C’est vrai qu’on ne peut pas chauffer deux biberons un à la suite de l’autre, mais on doit simplement changer l’eau pour de l’eau froide, je ne trouve pas que c’est un gros inconvénient.
