Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro 6GB/64GB Mineral Grey（UK VERSION）

2 months in I'm still very happy with this phone. The camera is excellent, so good that my brother in-law asked me to use it for his child's birthday party instead of his iPhone 11 max. The battery is decent and charges super quick. So far only down side is that the phone doesn't come with a screen protector so make sure to pick one up as well.

Had the redmi note 8 pro for a week now. I lost my Samsung s9 and needed a quick replacement. Read reviews of many phones as you should always do when buying any electronics. Especially if, like me, you like the best. Well this had decent reviews. I have to say I agree. It is a really good phone that does everything my Samsung s9 did and more. With the exception of being able to download more themes. Actually it is much more free and customisable in more ways. Some that need turning on in the setting menus like fingerprint recognition for website passwords, etc.Had it 1 week and so far I have only had to charge it once. Usually I was charging my Samsung twice a day. I'm really impressed so far. The camera is excellent too. This is my first non big name phone in 20 years. I recommend to anybody without hesitation. After a week so far, anyway.Oh, one slight drawback. Call quality is a little different as sounds like call is on speaker phone but it isn't it's just quite loud.

So far so good, Ive had this for 2 days and have to say it's quite impressive.. This is my 2nd budget phone, last one was an Honor play and this surpasses it in terms of build quality and speed. Camera does the job for social media, screen is very bright... Has NFC for contactless payments....i don't like the MUI so have downloaded Nova Prime for 3.99 on play store and that make the phone so much more fluid with its stock Android feel... If you looking for a budget phone...your search is over.A couple of people are saying it's Android 9.....mine came with Android 9 but within 3days the Ota update for Android 10

I bought this phone as my contracted phone - a Huawei Mate 20 Pro has had continued problems with its USB-C port and Huawei have been absolutely terrible, awful and useless in fixing the issue on my 9 month old phone.I liked the fact that it has a separate 3.5mm audio jack, supposed great battery life and was top of the pack in terms of grunt in the £200 ish phones.The good bits are that generally, it is about as fluid and pleasant to use at first as the Mate 20 Pro when that was working well. The LCD screen isn't quite as good, but that really isn't an issue and it rarely struggles for computing power. The camera is also pretty decent.In terms of issues, I do have a few. First - Xiaomi have adverts in everything! It gets annoying and you can lose the actual button you are looking for.Secondly - it has an annoying habit of randomly rebooting, sometimes a couple of times a day. I may have to return it if it persists or gets worse.Thirdly, I have experienced a day where the phone did struggle to do everything I asked of it. I am demanding, and it overheated but long before that it was struggling to connect to Android Auto. Doing an 'optimize' didn't really help and I suppose that despite it having 6gb of ram and a decent chip, it is still a £200 phone and was being pushed beyond what it was comfortable with.If it didn't reboot randomly I would really recommend it. As it is, the issue, which I understand is quite common, needs to be addressed and fixed before I can do that.

Taking 2 stars way for response times and battery life. Honestly, with 4500mah battery I expected the phone to last longer. I have my mobile data on all the time as my work requires me to have it so they could contact me on WhatsApp group. Had this phone for a little less than a week and not even once battery lasted more than half a day (6am to 12pm usually) before it needs a charge. I don't really use battery draining apps, only WhatsApp and Google somethings here and there, some occasional phone calls. Disappointed with a phones navigational response times too, whenever I click back or home button there's a second or 2 delay, which is unusual considering it's a brand new phone. Comparing to my old phone Huawei p30 lite, Huawei takes the lead. Gonna chuck this phone in a drawer and continue using my Huawei. Comparing the two phones battery life, Huawei has a smaller battery but it lasts longer, I go throu a whole day without charging it (10 hours) and come back home with 35% battery. Not very best impressions from Xiaomi on my first purchase from them. There are a few other small things but I won't mention them.

I must say that this is the best phone I ever had. Outstanding quality, for €200 AMAZING. I have checked/tested phone with 2 apps and its exactly as they say.128GB memory, 6GB ram, 8 core fast procesor, 2 sim cards, micro sd card, incredible 64MP camera and front 20MP front selfie camera. Its super fast and batery keep phone on during 12 hours wathing non stop youtube (tested) and confirmed 😀 this is absolutely no brainer. No more expensive samsungs for me.

What a fantastic phone!I never though I would be picking up this phone and resting my iPhone 11 Pro for few weeks to see what is it like to live with Xiaomi 8 pro. I was pleasantly surprised by how snappy and smooth the operating system running UIMI 11. The phone has a substantial weight and feels solid in the hand. The curved edges makes it very easy to handle. Coming from an OLED screen I though this was going to be a dreadful screen but it’s exactly the opposite, good viewing angles and vibrant display that has enough peak luminance to function properly under sunlight. The battery has been amazing getting 9/10 screen on time and can go for two days with light usage. The bottom grill speaker is loud a cleat but it would have been nice to add another at the top for a stereo experience. The 64x camera is awesome delivering some consistant shot during day time. If you are serious about photography install Gcam as the pictures are considerably better with neutral tone and less noise.Highly recommended phone that I would buy again tomorrow if this one went down the drain.
