I loved this film and of course had to be a true dog lover to want to buy it and watch it and everything is absolutely hilarious fun, loving, caring and all the dogs are the most amazing trained actors and those little two twin dacies my most favourite breed. Real animal lovers film and the baddies/dog pound get their come-upperance ha ha, it's called dog power and young kids empowerment to do something and fight the state and save and make a home for all these rescue dogs in a hotel in New York, of course "Hotel for Dogs" yay.

This is a real feel-good family film, and the dogs in are just wonderful. It's a real good vs bad and great fun, if rather sad in places, but all comes good in the end. How they got all those dogs to behave and act as they do is totally beyond me, they all deserve an oscar. An outright winner with my 10 year old son and I have to say with his parents too! Loved it.

Our daughter (age 4 and a half) adores this! It has the right combination of adventure, cute animals, fantasy and some more serious and poignant moments.I must say that we don't leave her watching it on her own (or at least keep a close eye on her) because she can get a bit emotional during the sad part and needs a bit of a cuddle.It all comes right in the end, of course, and it is a good bit of fun.

People may look at this dvd and think oh dear here comes another disney talking dog film but its not, it is suitable for younger ages and easy to understand but with an underlying story of a brother and sister risking everything they have even each other to save these dogs. A brilliant heart felt film with wonderful performances from Jake T. Austin and Emma Roberts and from the dogs! :) 5 stars!

Ideal to watch with the family and tub of popcorn! Happy to watch again.
