Okin Lift Chair Power Supply Transformer SP2-B

My mom’s assist chair was raising and lowering very slowly. She was ready to look into buying a new chair but I told her to wait and I decided to look online to troubleshoot first. I found a video that indicated that the transformer may have gone bad; it was now relying on the battery backup, hence the slowness in raising and lowering. I ordered this transformer on Amazon based on the part number and description of the one on my mom’s chair. When the transformer arrived, it was just a matter of plugging it in. It doesn’t come with cords so don’t throw away the cords from your old transformer. The chair now works as good as new. Replacing this simple part saved hundreds of dollars that might have been spent on a service call or a new chair.

My mother in law has had hip surgery and must use a lift chair. It stopped working one day and after examining it my husband tried putting new batteries in it. It would work with the batteries so we knew the problem wasn't with the chair but the transformer. I googled this item and found it here on Amazon for a reasonable price. The picture looked exactly like the transformer we had and the price was much lower than purchasing a new chair. We received it in record time and it works fabulously!

The power supply pack was very easy to install. The chair now works great. Great option to be able to fix the chair with reasonable cost

Ordered the power supply pack with the understanding from the ad that this was a replacement for the old style. But it does not work and I do not know how to send it back

This Amazon partner uses deceptive tactics to sell their product. It was marketed as an equivalent to the unit we needed for a lift chair. In fact, an Internet search for our catalog product took us straight to this one. When we received it we were immediately aware that it was not compatible. The cost to return it? About $14. The lesson is to stay away from this company. If purchase from them and the item is incompatible it will cost you more than it would to go local or get one from the manufacturer. Do not be deceived.

I bought this to replace the power supply on my grandmother's sofa/recliner; the original was a regular linear transformer, and was about as heavy as a cinder block. Since I'm not always keen on using "equivalent" replacements for things like proprietary high-power power supplies, I tried to find an exact match, but without much luck. The one or two I did find were priced at almost double this.Reluctantly, I purchased this unit, hoping it would arrive in time for me to install it before I went back home (about 3000mi away). It arrived the day before I left, and I was surprised at how light it was compared to the original -- probably about 1/3 the weight. It was also a different shape but to my relief had the same connectors, so I hooked it up and prayed.The recliner worked just as well as it did with the original supply, and a month later it's still going strong. I, and more importantly, my grandmother, are very happy with this purchase.

i choose this as my chair is still not working, so dont know if its the power pack or not

This was purchased to replace the transformer that was accidentally ruined by water. This is identical to the original in size, design and function and worked perfectly right out of the box. Installation is as simple as just plugging it in but keep in mind that this did not include the cord from the motor on the recliner to the transformer itself but did include the power cord. The motor cord can be ordered separately if needed.

I ordered this item to replace my worn out transformer for my Lazy Boy recliner & it was the perfect replacement part that I needed. The delivery time was 1 week earlier than originally posted.
