Really good for its purpose

Very thorough book on doctoral research for education.

Excellent textbook. Typical textbook price.

I bought a new hard copy of this text for $182 and received a roughly used book. The spine is extremely worn, there are indentations on the front cover, and there are post-it notes inside of the book. It would have been nice to have received a new book I would’ve taken better care of and kept on my bookshelf for years. Being in a 7-week class, I don’t have time for a replacement.

I am thankful for a less expensive version of this book. However, I recommend the book and not the digital book. It was challenging to navigate through the digital book during exams.

Chapter 4 was either not scanned correctly or has other tech issues. Multiple sections are missing and the page number is stuck at "105" throughout the chapter, making accurate text citations a guessing game. Not able to request a refund for this nearly $100 purchase, now I have to purchase the hard text for nearly $190 after tax. This single text has cost me almost $300. Save yourself the frustration and just pay the extra $$ upfront for the hard cover. I wish I had.

This book is held together by tape on the inside. The outside is tattered and it’s highlighted on the inside. Very very poor quality. Do not order this book
