Paradise, Irene Tsu Style
I have been waiting for Irene's book for months and it did not disappoint. Well-written, honest, and entertaining she shares her life, the good and the bad, with the reader from her relationships with her family, to her acting and fashion careers, to her romances. She has had a healthy way of living and dealing with life that more people should follow. I especially liked her insights on Frank Sinatra whom she had a two year affair and her seven or so years as a fashion designer. My only disappointments were the Q&A interviews at the back of the book between her co-writer and friends who knew or worked with Irene over the years. This would have had more impact if their quotes were used in the text where Irene talks about them. And as with some BearManor Media books unfortunately, the picture quality is less than stellar especially since they reproduced full page newspaper and magazine articles on Irene from the past. It is extremely difficult if not impossible to read. Even so, Irene has had a wonderfully interesting life and glad she decided to share it.

Hollywood
5 STARS! I can't imagine how challenging it would be to tackle one's life story, but I do know that Irene Tsu did it with the finesse only a talented and creative person (like herself) has. It's such a delight to read; one of those books that completely drags you in. Career, relationships, family, friends.......you won't be able to put it down

Perfect summer reading
Light and fun. Irene Tsu writes about her life as an innocent and fortunate adventurer. Her love of people shines through, and we get to glimpse her famous friends and lovers in a simple and disarming way. Sharing her "watercolor" approach to life is a wonderful gift to us.

The interrelationships of lives in Hollywood...
Irene worked very hard in her career in TV and motion pictures and made many friends. She solved her problems and set an example for others to follow.

From Sinatra to Elvis to John Wayne: inside stories
Irene Tsu's stunning beauty overshadowed her considerable acting talent. But directors recognized her abilities and she co-starred with John Wayne, Doris Day and even Elvis while carrying on a serious two year personal relationship with Frank Sinatra! And it is all here--the stories and the scoop illustrated with a voluminous photo gallery behind the scenes of "Caprice," "The Green Berets," and "Down and Out in Beverly Hills." The most fascinating pages in the illustrations are "tough guy Sinatra's" softly affectionate notes and cards from there long relationship. Ms. Tsu could "Stuff a Wild Bikini" (she was in that too) but was also a thoughtful observer of every fascinating show business scene from Hong Kong to Hollywood and it is all on these pages. Thumbs up!
