I bleach my hair from dark brown/almost black to platinum. This is not exactly easy on the hair, and I'm still a beginner. Being a beginner, I've made mistakes and ended up with broken pieces around my face. These barrettes are ideal for clipping back those broken pieces, meaning that I don't have to look like a lunatic while they grow out. They don't hold a ton of hair, but more than many I've tried and they are extremely sturdy. The color blends in with platinum blonde hair perfectly. You can tell they're there, but they're not glaringly obvious like a black or tortoiseshell clip would be. The little free gift and unexpectedly cute box were fun surprises! Definitely recommend!

Just like any other larger snap type clip, they will pull your hair out if you don’t remove them carefully. The trick is to unsnap the clip, then use a finger to pry it open it a bit wider before you start to remove it. These clips hold small, slippery amounts of hair as well as the name brands. I like having a large quantity of the same color because I often misplace my clips. The light matte gold spray paint job looks a bit cheesy, but it does blend in well with my hair. So far, the paint hasn’t come off. Good value.

This traps your hair--I mean, SUPER-traps it. Hurts like crazy when you're trying to get the clips out, and you're lucky if your hair stays attached to your head.Will have to look elsewhere...

The clips don't open up completely, so if you manage to get any hair in the back-most part of the clip and then try to remove the clip, it rips your hair out because it can't escape the clip. It's a terrible design. I've come across a few other clips that do this, and I don't understand how they exist. I did buy another version of clip from this same company, that look more like traditional snap clips, and they work great, but these are awful.

I had not been able to find these snap clips in this finish (palest gold, semi-matte) in this SIZE until now. (The really small ones are easy to find.) Glad to have this in "regular" size!

I have white hair and these clips blend in. I like the fact that they are long and hold well. I like the way the way they hold my hair up in a twist.

These are perfect! Simple style and nice colors available. I am growing out my bangs and have searched all the chain drug stores and big box store for simple clips. I only found the usual glitzy or kiddie clips. These were just what I was searching for while I struggle to let my bangs grow out. Great hold too!

I can't believe this are actually better then what I purchase at the store for twice as much (for less items), plus they come I a cute little box like a gift.

I had been hunting for this length of hair clip that I haven’t seen in the shops for years. They are a bit longer than normal and are strong enough to stay in place and not slip through my hair

I like that there are 12 in a box. Down side is that the epoxy will eventually peel off the clip. Not an issue for me as I keep losing my hair clips anyway.
