Not soft if that’s what you’re looking for rougher texture

I love the heavy weight of Carhartt shirts, but you can not count on the fit. The relaxed shirts are actually cut slimmer than the originals which are too wide in the body. The problem is that two shirts, both labeled 100% cotton shrank differently. One now fits, the other is way too tight. The problem is probably that manufacturing is done in different locations using different materials even though both are all cotton. The heather colors are not 100% cotton and shrink differently. It is almost impossible to predict how a Carhartt shirt will fit after washing.
