Born and raised in East Atlanta's historic Cabbage Town neighborhood, Alex is a southern bred, blue-collar emcee. Writing with his southern roots planted deeply into his love for hip-hop, Alex aims to capture casual listeners and music lovers alike with vivid imagery, raw honesty, and hard-hitting bars. Alex wants to establish himself as an MC in his latest offering of Bloodlines. The album is far from spitting metaphors and punch lines lines to wow the listener, but the contrary, there is a life story and intent to his rhyming. In Bloodlines, you will hear the unique story of Alex, his current life struggles of being what he feels is a top tier MC but still needing to hold down other jobs. Bloodlines talks about the stillborn loss of his son that he and his wife went through, as well as bangers like "95 Atlanta" that proudly put his city on the map, to title track Bloodlines (Body Bag) interlude that is sheer hard hitting bars to tell the listener and other MCs that he taking on all challengers. Christian or not, Bloodlines is letting the entire rap game know that Alex is looking to end careers as well as establish his.

Collision makes me smile :)
Very good album, Alex Faith's solo sophomore release got me playing all the tracks. The chill factor on Clayco, the turnt factor on Pressure, and the raw emotion on Dark Matters, almost let the water works go on Stillborn.Still got the album on repeat skipping almost no tracks, man Collision, ya'll know what's up.

Good but....
I've been an Alex Faight fan and the music is solid. He mentions a certain line that I interpret as cursing (see album review here for specific quote- http://wadeoradio.com/album-review-alex-faith-bloodlines/). Its literally one word but to me it sets a bad precedent and sends a mixed message. If your gospel then be gospel. This just makes me curious of what else is to come from him or Collision altogether. Trust but verify the "christian" music you listen too.

Working Indie
As an engineer and as an artist, its always going to be a struggle making your own music. Because you are the one in control and you decide how high the standards are for yourself. And with this album, Alex set the bar real high for himself. Proud of him! Keep making music that glorifies God and keepin the south always on your mind.

Great Album!!!!
Solid production and lyrics throughout the album. The overall feel of the album is amazing. I give it 4 stars because 5 stars is used too much for gospel albums!!!

By far my favorite record company
Solid album again from Collision Records. By far my favorite record company, real rap, real issues. Much respect Alex this goes well as a partner album to Southern Lights over Exposed with Dre. Keep grinding for the Kingdom

One of his best albums yet!
Really loving this album. I would say it's his best so far. I hope he continues on this trend of meaningful and just being real with who he is in his writing.
