Digital Fish Scale Tape Measure 99lb/45kg and Fish Lip Gripper

It started off with a shoe, then escalated to a frozen ham, then my niece. I can't stop weighing things.. seriously this is a cry for help, I haven't seen sunlight for days.

Measures to nearest 10 grams or roughly .02 lbs. Tested various items up to 12 lbs. against trusted digital kitchen scale, and it is right on. Once you set to Kgs or Lbs. it will default to that next time you use it. Easy to use and sturdy. Only knock is that the display locks in a weight after 8 seconds. Sounds like an ok feature, but in practice, most live fish are still flapping around after 8 seconds, so you don't get an accurate weight. Have to remove fish, reset to zero, and try again.

I've been using this scale for a year now, it seems to be pretty accurate. The fish gripper is lacking however. two things. 1. I've had several large bass shake themselves off the fish gripper, 2. it always seems to come off the scale when I'm looking for it, i.e. it's not secure to the hook on the scale. When I turn the scale on, I want the gripper to be on there so it tare's out a 0.0. Unfortunately, I'll turn it on then realize the fish gripper isn't attached and have to go through the process again. And since I've had several bass shake themselves off the gripper, I use my catfish grips now and just deduct the weight of them, instead of hassling with the fish grippers.

My son is really enjoying this! Now instead of saying he is catching 5 lb bass...we know the truth! LOL!

I liked the product when I first received it. It works well, except after a few months of use, the scale will only read in kg. When i hit the red button it continues to stay on kgs and will not switch to lbs. I want to read in imperial units so I need to ditch this and get another scale. Good while it lasted but did not last very long for me.

Gave as a gift, opened with recipient n played with alil. We weighed some hunting boots n it seemed to work very nicely. The lit background will help at night when weighing big cats!! The hold function is nice once it gets the weight so you can release grip n look at after releasing fish. All in all very happy with purchase, hope it holds up as it will get much use this summer.

Easy to use. Seems to be pretty accurate and repeatable.

The scale seems to be pretty accurate, not that I've checked, and it has been pretty reliable. I don't bother with the clamp as the hook is sufficient. The clamp is too bothersome to use and unnecessary. The screen under most conditions is legible. It is meeting my kayak fishing, and bragging right, needs.

Love being able to attach the lip grip before hanging the fish on the scale, but a it's a good idea to attach a small string in case you drop it. Tested it and quite accurate. Nice to be able to measure as the fish is being weighed. Only problem is I can no longer exaggerate the weight and size of my fish...

You get a lot for the money...simply put this scale is accurate and has features that may or may not be found in more expensive scales and the measuring tape is such a bonus. Battery required are 2 triple AAA which are more available then those CR 2032 type battery. Would totally recommend this scale...Tight lines to all.

This is a great scale and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an economical and easy to use scale!
