PYREX Slim Line, 1399-125, 125ml Round Media Storage Bottles, with GL45 Screw Cap (Pack of 2)

Disclaimer: this review is not for the scientific usage of the product. I'm not a good cook, but I do like to bake. I heard somewhere that cooking is an art and baking is a science. I like to follow directions instead of throwing leftovers together and hoping for a good result. I don't have that skill. So when I decided to make my own vanilla "tincture" I wanted bottles for the finished product that would be sturdy, easy to sanitize and last. Of course I thought of Pyrex. When I started my rabbit-hole journey and stumbled across the science-side of Pyrex, I had to take that path. I smile every time I use the bottles, beakers and graduated cylinder to do my baking. I hope this review helps someone.

Took a lot of chemistry in school and needed a nifty way to store olive oil. I know you are not supposed to use lab ware for food items but this will be kitchen only. Well constructed nice orange top, looks great filled with olive oil sitting next to the stove top. Had to order a smaller one for the olive oil to sit next to it. (I know you are not supposed to store olive oil in a clear container I only use this to fill up a small portion from the larger bulk bottle I buy form costco)

Super solid construction. Thick glass and a very nice cap. An inch or so taller than the non-slimline bottles of the same volume.

These bottles are very pricey but they just don't come in any better quality than this. If high quality is important to you then you will find they are worth the money.

Excellent product. I use them for dissolving one of my medications. They do not leak when shaken nor do they leak into my purse. I have purchased 5 of these. The quality is excellent.

Love these Pyrex Slim Line pouring jars! They work awesome for pouring things like agar(and I am sure pretty much any other liquid). I have the 125ml, and the 1000ml. I like how comfortable they are to handle. They are both really durable, and can be used in a microwave, and with other forms of heat. The no drip spout works great too! I highly recommend this brand, and type of pouring jar.
